Awesome hotel - but let down by experience on this occasion; value for money not visible.

Room was excellent.
Breakfast in Collins Kitchen was delicious (no Club Lounge breakfast available).
Hotel location is good.

Cons:

Normal gym, pool and spa/sauna area was unavailable for use. Temporary gym only. - This was not clearly communicated at time of booking.
Club Lounge offerings not up to normal standard (and reduced offerings - eg. no breakfast service).
Lack of priority seating area for Club Lounge patrons at breakfast.
Despite requests, there was no way to adjust temperature in mini-bar fridge. The drinks from in fridge were virtually room temperature. This really needs attention! Requests for ice to room to compensate were plagued with delays.

Cons:

If you are a fussy sleeper, who hates noise. This hotel may not the best for you. Can hear the stumping feet at the room above. and there’s a gap at the door.
