Prestige Kamloops Hotel is a newly renovated hotel in Kamloops. The location is close to the highway amongst many other hotels. It works as a stop along the highway. Check-in went poorly, the clerk was brusque but then overcompensated by trying to be funny. Fortunately, the manager noticed our reaction and we were upgraded. However, we were not impressed with the bathroom in our upgraded room - it was very small. The good news is the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room was quiet, but perhaps we were away from the highway.
We made our booking through my BestWestern membership (this hotel is "affiliated" to BestWestern). That is a marriage of convenience as it lacks the pleasant atmosphere (where are the water bottles and cookies??) and the points of a BestWestern. And the big one - no breakfast! A voucher doesn't cut it for us and we ate elsewhere. We stayed at a Marriot earlier in the week and the comparison is not even close and it was for a similar cost.
Checkout took an age - seemed to be a complex process needing much staring at the screen.
Summary - over priced and under provided.

Booked 3 months ago. Called to confirm reservation. And still gave the room to another person. Gave us a lesser room with a 20 dollar discount. Wow

Enjoyed our stay, staff was very helpful, overall facility is about 8.5. The food & the staff in the Chinese restaurant were both excellent. would stay again.

Prestige Kamloops Hotel is a newer motel in Kamloops. It sits across the carpark from another Prestige property, the Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Hotel, which seems about the same age, but has lower-priced rooms and complementary breakfast for motel guests. Check-in went smoothly. Our room with 2 Queen beds was smaller than the average hotel room and came with a fridge and microwave. Soundproofing was average. We were informed that our room didn’t come with free breakfast (they did offer us a 25% off voucher for breakfast at the Isagani restaurant just beside the motel lobby) and there were no laundry facilities on site, although a laundry room with a single washer and dryer was available at the Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Hotel opposite us, a short half minute walk away. I booked this Prestige motel stay through my search on Bestwestern hotel website. In contrast to other Bestwestern motels I have stayed at, Prestige Kamloops Hotel seems to lack the regular amenities such as free breakfast and on-site laundry facilities. And I must mention that in comparison to other motels I have stayed at, which offer free tea/coffee round the clock, Prestige Kamloops Hotel only offers complementary coffee from 5am to 7am and 11am to 5pm. This is weird timing for guests who have a long drive after checking out in the mornings (unless they check out before 7am). I strongly believe there is room for improvement at Prestige Kamloops Hotel.

Was the cleanest room that I've stayed in. Been in a lot lately.

The hotel was a great location and had a comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for somewhere to stay while away from home.
