No complementary breakfast, no laundry facilities
Pros:

Prestige Kamloops Hotel is a newer motel in Kamloops. It sits across the carpark from another Prestige property, the Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Hotel, which seems about the same age, but has lower-priced rooms and complementary breakfast for motel guests. Check-in went smoothly. Our room with 2 Queen beds was smaller than the average hotel room and came with a fridge and microwave. Soundproofing was average. We were informed that our room didn’t come with free breakfast (they did offer us a 25% off voucher for breakfast at the Isagani restaurant just beside the motel lobby) and there were no laundry facilities on site, although a laundry room with a single washer and dryer was available at the Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Hotel opposite us, a short half minute walk away. I booked this Prestige motel stay through my search on Bestwestern hotel website. In contrast to other Bestwestern motels I have stayed at, Prestige Kamloops Hotel seems to lack the regular amenities such as free breakfast and on-site laundry facilities. And I must mention that in comparison to other motels I have stayed at, which offer free tea/coffee round the clock, Prestige Kamloops Hotel only offers complementary coffee from 5am to 7am and 11am to 5pm. This is weird timing for guests who have a long drive after checking out in the mornings (unless they check out before 7am). I strongly believe there is room for improvement at Prestige Kamloops Hotel.

Clean but not comfortable
Pros:

Was the cleanest room that I've stayed in. Been in a lot lately.

Cons:

Not user friendly. The coffee and cup tray were inside a cupboard on-top of a half-size mini fridge. Well I just left it there as I cannot bend and lift anything. No glasses in the bathroom. Beds were very soft which is not great for anyone who has back issues.

A much need me night
Pros:

It was clean I stay here almost every time I come to town

Cons:

Had to lift the door a bit for the lock to engage but told the front desk when I left and they were thankful and apologetic.

It’s fine, room was great.
Pros:

It was comfortable easy to walk to the mall or shops.
We had a room NOT backing on to the highway .
So much more enjoyable.

Cons:

Full of teams, who run the halls and forget there are non team humans there.
It is very loud from the hall noise.

Bad sign when ear plugs are provided for you.

It was fine, next time I’ll ask for a rooom , not on the highway side.
Pros:

Lots of parking, welcoming.

Cons:

The highway sound , they give you foam ear plugs as they know it’s loud.
The room has carpet, we have stayed here before and the room had LVP, felt cleaner .

Pros:

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and the 22 lbs of frozen fish we were transporting. The manager was able to find freezer space to hold all of it while we were there.
