The location of the hotel.
The bed had ants on it, and there was hair in the shower quite a bit on the shampoo and conditioner.
Breakfast was really nice. The waffles were delicious. Grits were good as well. They tasted better than I thought they would without butter.

The staff were exceptional, the room was as described, and the location was central to everything New Bern has to offer!
The bathroom and areas around the floorboards showed a little age. Otherwise everything was clean and neat.

The staff were all friendly and it was quiet which is nice because we had a little one. Location was nice and close to our relatives and the room was nice and clean.
It's in VERY fine print but they take a $75 room deposit fee when you check in. It's refundable provided they do not find anything damaged in the room. I also did not like that the staff's children were coming upto my young baby and touching her/getting in her face. I understand they're kids, but my little one wasn't feeling well and the other kids' parents were no where to be found. I also did not appreciate the constant smell of weed everytime we entered the hallway.
At the outset, the room temperature was like an oven. Took over an hour to bring it down to 76 degrees.

Beds were hard. Breakfast was sub-par. Even as far as free breakfasts go.
the room i paid for , reservvation by internet was nothing like i paid for. i talked to lady (sally) about it and she said there was nothing she copuld do about it. we had a medical at home and had to leave a day sooner than expected, they workwd with us well on that problem. we appreciate that. i made reservation for a king, walk in shower and asked for first floor. we ended uo in a queen double on 2nd. floor with tub bath , ihad just receive a new knee and had to bathe in sink. .i feel clarion could have done much better. we travel a lot and always try to leave good reviews, not this time. there is no excue that will pacsify us., i will just put in my memory bank. kindest regards the howells/
Location, parking and how clean the facility was all over.
Breakfast left much to be desired. Not found of bread items. Need better protein offerings. Had to wait at checking desk for attendant to appear.
