Paying for parking
Very retro and chic! The ambiance was breathtaking. I wish I could have packed the bed in my suitcase.. lol. I came for my birthday and they did not disappoint! Will definitely be back and stay longer❤️
I liked how creative the theme was, i appreciated not the same boring hotel
It wasn’t dirty but it wasn’t clean, there were a few things left from the previous stay or the housekeeping in the room when we checked in. Also one of the screens on the 5th floor room we had was missing, that didn’t feel safe at all. The only blankets we got for the king size bed we had were not big enough for 2 people. There was 2 half comforters, to make a second bed which was really awkward to sleep with. The shower tile wasn’t gross but it wasn’t clean, also the rain fall shower head was subpar. Also this was a trip for my boyfriend’s birthday and I had left a special note saying that and asking for decorations if it was possible. I also called a couple days before the stay and talked to Luz, I told her about the stay and she said she would make it special with decorations, free bubbly, some sweet treats, and a card. She even encouraged when I asked if i could drop off decorations for it, so I ordered stuff to the hotel. To my disappointment the room wasn’t decorated and kinda dirty. Also I had called to add parking to my stay and talked to a woman named Victoria, who in my opinion was very disrespectful and unfriendly. She seems to lack customer service and problem solving skills. She implied that buying parking was no point because it’s “first come first serve.” when I brought up that i could have bought it when I booked my stay she said “yeah but you’re not reserved a spot.” She became very argumentative and didn’t really offer any solutions or suggestions, so I asked to speak to someone else. I was transferred to Eliot and he helped me right away, said that parking is available and if necessary they have 2 lots. The morning after my stay Ruthann was very frustrated with the room not being decorated for us and comped our parking and one other charge im forgetting, she was amazing.
Highly recommend.
Only downside was the 25.00 for parking.
With that said I’ve already made reservations to stay there on my next trip to Portland.
I didn’t like paying 25.00 for parking.
When we cancelled our booking the front desk was helpful.
The day of check-in there was an event in town that closed some of the roads. The hotel sent me a map of streets that were open so I could navigate to the property—this map was inaccurate. I called the front desk to ask how to navigate the road closures and get to the hotel, the person that answered said they had no idea, and ended the call with “I hope you can get here!” Ultimately we drove around for 2+ hours in bad traffic before we realized that the hotel was literally inaccessible due to the road closures. The streets were expected to be closed until around midnight, so we were forced to cancel our reservation and book a different place across town. I wish the staff had been more helpful.
Location was perfect and Mr Kennedy was really helpful and friendly with a big smile for his heart
Nothing
Every thing was perfect, location is in the downtown close to water front and all stores , Mr Kennedy at front desk was fantastic ,, complimentary water was provided at the time of check in with a beautiful still bottle.
Nothing
Todo
Pet friendly, complementary water bottle.
Hotel smells old, bad details to the upgrades. It feels real sleezy and that train that runs pass every 15 minutes. The homeless sleeping in the underground garage.
Close to downtown, reasonable parking fee, lovely room, and very friendly staff.

Location is great. The staff was beyond wonderful. Our refrigerator did not work and the staff quickly resolved the issue by moving us to a new room. I cannot say enough nice things about the front desk staff. They truly were amazing.
In my opinion, paying for parking should have been included in the room cost or cheaper than $25 a night. It would have been nice to have breakfast included like many other hotels do, for what you are charging per night.
