My first trip to Portland and Hotel Rose did not disappoint! Room and location along with the super welcoming staff were all extraordinary! Shout out to Joanne at the front desk for her incredible customer service throughout my stay! I will definitely be back next time I am in Portland!
Dog friendly and conveniently located.
Outdated interior. The lids for the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was left on the shower shelf and not put back on.
Good location, confortabil bad and clean
Need updating the shower and missing bathroom supplies - make sure you’ll bring all necessary from razors 🪒, toothbrush 🪥, toothpaste
This is our favorite place to stay in Portland!
Loved the robes and single comforters, the coffee pot was awesome. Staff was absolutely great. Location was great liked that there was parking available and within walking distance of everything downtown.
The room was lacking microwave, and water pressure was low. The bed made weird noises like maybe a broken box spring or something.
Great location. The heart of Portland.
The location was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was so helpful and amazing in every way. The refillable water bottle and filling station was a great touch and I loved everything about our stay. Plus, we were able to check in a bit early without any trouble.
Everything! The location was perfect for us as we were traveling to visit my daughter who was having a birthday and lives in Ladd's Addition. The downtown area is beautiful as was the view from our room. The location was clean and right by the park and river. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was well decorated. We appreciated and used the Keurig to make tea in the morning. What we especially enjoyed was talking to your staff. Upon check-in, the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Late at night, even though the bar was closed, a staff member named Kennedy poured us a glass of wine and let us stay as long as we liked. It turned out that he had the same birthday as my daughter and the next day, he gifted her a travel mug. It's this kind of superior service and friendly attitude that stays in my mind and we'll be back again!

downtown location
- downtown location means lots of homeless and crime.
- Standard sized beds with 2 twin-sized duvetes, don't really fit the small bed.
- This is the old Riverside Inn, now a fairly tired old hotel. the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
I thought the place was okay, my wife didn't.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It was a good price and the perfect location with lots of walkable places. A really beautiful part of downtown I'd say. The beds were comfortable and so were the rooms in general. My literal only complaint is that the bathroom design is pretty flawed (no fan, for some reason only half a shower door panel so water gets everywhere when you shower, and it's in the center of the room so kinda hard to air out if you take a poop and you're staying with other people) but it still served it's purpose. It's also nice the parking fee was less than half the price of all the other nearby hotels. A lot of nice touches like the filtered water station in the lobby and the complimentary beverage. It really feels like they care about their guests.
