Cons:

Room could have been cleaner. Bathroom old condition. Room on road noisy from local bars. Would not want to be there on a weekend! Some staff excellent. Some very poor service.

Cleanliness. Bathroom toilet ran all day and night. No small fridge. Towels were small and cheap. Rooms need serious updating if you are going to charger $700/night. Stayed 2 nights probably won’t stay there again. Location was perfect but other hotels around look better

Conveniently Located in the Stockyards
Pros:

This hotel is right in the thick of things in the middle of The Stockyards. We chose to stay here due to the historical significance of the hotel. There is a Bonnie and Clyde room where they are said to have stayed during their crime spree. However, I didn't choose that room. For the price of this hotel. I was a little disappointed in the accommodations but understand that the price is mostly due to the location and the historical aspect. The room was somewhat small for the price, and walls were thin. The people in the next room were fighting late at night and it was definitely a problem. We stayed mid-week and it was relatively quiet otherwise, but I can definitely see that it would be very noisy on the weekend. They provide earplugs to guests in the room. There is no parking on site and all parking is valet. My favorite thing though was the large portrait of Will Rogers as I'm quite a fan of his. Staff was nice and helpful. Nice lobby. The adjacent bar called Booger Red's was awesome and had really cool bar stools shaped like a saddles. Overall, it was great to be in the center of everything, but I'm glad it wasn't on the weekend when I'm sure it gets crazy loud.

Hotel as expected with top tier location, worth it.
Pros:

Location was excellent. Bar and restaurant were great. Staff were helpful and kind.

Cons:

The bathrooms were very small; however, that may not be able to be helped if there's red tape regarding renovations. Not having a full length mirror in the rooms was a burden. It would be easy to attach them on the inside of the armoires.

Pros:

The first bedroom did not meet our expectations as it was very dark but the very nice lady at the desk found us a solution for the second night . Many thanks to the whole team who was really friendly and super efficient in finding solutions.

Great location and friendly staff. I would stay again because of the location alone but that can’t be the only factor.

Cons:

Got our room and opened the door and looked like someone was already checked into it. We finally got it resolved but take a minute to being short staffed.
