It's very nice very clean the staff is good it's the cheapest hotel I've ever stayed it's not dirty they keep the place organized I always stay there the gym is nice and clean you can go in whenever you want to it's by it's near the casino a gas station country Fair Arby's Barbados Taco Bell a Subway that's connected with the truck stop acrosby's the convenience of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to come into the city and to enjoy themselves all around

Stains all over couch, smelly and bugs in room flying around

Usually, the expression refers to a person, but it aptly describes this hotel. I actually feel bad about writing such a negative review.

The good: Generally clean, near I-90 and the Erie Casino. Fast check-in and friendly accommodating front desk staff.

The rest: Once above the lobby level, it is apparent that this property is near the end of its service life. The hotel has two elevators and only one worked. When a call button or floor selection button in the car is pressed, they do not light, so you don’t know if the press worked until the elevator door opens. The floor indicator lights do not work inside the car. The paint around the elevator door entrances is badly scratched and in need of a coat of paint. The breakfast area was clean but the counter and under cabinet doors are badly scratched and in need of refinishing. Once inside the room, the shower head fell off in pieces when the shower was turned on. (I had to reassemble it and reattach it to the exposed pipe to get a shower.) There was a standing lamp that could not be turned on, and one of the bedside lamps was burned out. The television responded to the remote intermittently and sometimes you couldn’t turn the TV on and other times you couldn’t turn the TV off. (After getting a replacement remote at the front desk, the problem persisted.) There was no TV guide either printed or functioning on the TV itself, so you had to manually scan through the channels to find something to watch (when the TV would turn on). Not only did the USB ports at the desk not work – they actually drained the power from the devices plugged into them. The WiFi signal was very weak and often dropped the signal requiring a new log-in to reconnect.

There may be more to write, but I’m done as what I’ve already written says it all. As I wrote earlier, I feel bad about writing such a negative review, but it’s what I experienced. I suspect the property owner has no interest in devoting the resources needed to correct everything that needs to be maintained and replaced, thus this hotel’s been rode hard and put away wet. It’s not a horrible experience but be prepared and don’t expect the same type of experience you would get at another property. There’s worse out there.

Breakfast was decent. Room was clean and nice besides small bathroom and chipping paint in bathtub. Bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Friendly staff. Recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was really disappointing. The rooms weren’t clean, the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, and the bathrooms were super outdated. The overall condition of the place was poor, which was surprising because the reviews on Expedia made it sound much better. Definitely not what I expected.

It was close to where we needed to go

I like the area and the staff were so nice. I just think they need some need comfort spreading sheets!!!

The staff was unresponsive, bed was horrible, the A/C didn’t work properly, the Phone didn’t function, the two elevators only one worked, the food was minimal and cold. We had to request information on how to turn the TV on (light switch by door entry). The hotel room was moldy and dirty, the bed cover had blood stains on it. We were not offered a receipt upon check out. I’ve traveled eye led the world, this by far was the worst. I would give zero stars if possible. I’m not sure if this event was just us (one time event) or this is how it is always. I’d hope this just an off season situation.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom light was very dim. The bathroom in general needs an update. The tub was old and dingy. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The towel bar in the bathroom was evidently moved and the wall where is it was not patched. It was very difficult to hear the tv even through we had the volume all the way up.

Walls are paper thin. Had a party in room next door had to move rooms at 2am
