Sea Mountain Nude Resort & Spa Hotel - Adults Only

SMI:PS was our first dip into the lifestyle pool and we're head over heels with it. We've been "lifestyle adjacent" for years with our other activities and we didn't get too adventurous but when we're out again we have bigger plans! Suuuuuuper friendly staff and guests which was half the reason we felt so comfortable here.

The vibe is great, very inviting. The pool is nice, could be a tad bigger or the deep end filled in since it’s very small and not really used. Definitely will be back.

The place is in a weird neighborhood. It all needs a facelift. In my opinion it’s very overpriced. Whomever did the pictures for the website needs a raise because they make it look very different than it is (in a photoshopped, nice & new sort of way). The toilet in my room didn’t flush properly and I asked for someone to come look at it. No one ever came. The hot water also didn’t work in my shower.

The staff was all friendly & the pool was nice & warm. Went as a single lady & all other couples were respectful & it was fun to be able to be naked & just enjoy the sunshine.

Private

Pricing for a day pass could be considered reasonable. But it's wayyy overpriced for overnight stays. Regardless of what the owners state- it's not Hedo or Desire. No restaurants or bars on site. Fried chicken from Costco for lunch. You can order dinner at ridiculous prices. The themes aren't really theme nights so ignore that completely. Whatever you do- don't complain as clearly the customer is never right at SMI. There's better options.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Sea Mountain for their Labor Day event weekend. The Saturday party was popping, and we love that the crowd was so open-minded and kind! There was one woman who brought jello shots to share, and they were sooo good. It's a place to keep the phones away and focus on socializing with new friends or just simply enjoying your partner. There was food and snacks all day long! For the 'hot summer Labor Day' vibe, we were a fan of the offerings - beef stew, fried chicken, hot dogs, sodas, and more. Definitely satisfying after all the energy spent having fun all day and night ;) The costume/lingerie party was so entertaining to watch, and the DJ was great. It was busy all day and night, but the staff never missed a beat with providing drinks and more towels, and they constantly cleared things up so the place was kept CLEAN the whole time. We definitely appreciated that, and we didn't want to retire for the night even though it was 2am. Being naked and partying all day is an indescribable and freeing experience. To be honest, personally, each time we come here, it's like the best sexy couples' experience. We feel the glow for the week after too. For the open-minded, I'd recommend you try it at least once!

As a shy couple stepping into the lifestyle for the first time, we were both nervous—but those nerves disappeared the moment we walked into Sea Mountain Inn. From check-in to the tour, everything was handled with warmth and enthusiasm, making us feel instantly at ease. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and it was clear from the start that this is a space built on respect, freedom, and sensuality. The intro property tour in the begins in front of the main pool and ends near a large in-ground hot tub and locker rooms where you can store you belongings for the day/evening.

One of the most amazing parts of our experience was seeing my wife completely relax and embrace her confidence self. She has always been a little shy about being fully exposed, but the environment here made her feel safe and empowered. The other couples were so welcoming, respectful, and friendly, making sure she felt included without any pressure. Having that kind of acceptance and positive energy made all the difference.

Beyond the incredible atmosphere, the cleanliness here is impeccable—we’ve visited other venues where hygiene felt like an afterthought, but SMI takes it seriously, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. And the food? Way beyond what we expected! During the larger events, the catered food is actually delicious, unlike the typical lackluster offerings at other SoCal venues.

If you’re a couple (especially a first-timer) looking for a place that is welcoming, safe, liberating yet comfortable, this is it. We left feeling more connected, more confident, and more excited for what’s to come. We will definitely be back!

It was cold everywhere else, but it happened to be quite warm during the weekend we visited in Dec. It was our first time visiting during the winter season, and we found ourselves enjoying the more chill atmosphere (compared to the summer parties) and the lovely hot tub. We got to get to know other couples better, and we had lots of fun with each other and our new friends. Lots of action was happening in that pole room, let's just say. We both managed to get tan from being nude during the day time. They provided fluffy robes for our comfort during the evening. The rates are more affordable for us during the winter time, so we opted to stay there. It just so nice to have a room at the resort. While we had our fun with others, we found plenty of time to be romantic and spicy with each other as well. I'd definitely come here again and stay if I could.

This is my honest review, and I hope it helps. I visited Sea Mountain Resort as a single woman for two days. Upon arriving close to midnight, I was warmly greeted by the night staff member. She kindly gave me a tour of the resort, provided my room key, and even offered me a margarita. As we walked through the resort, it was surprisingly quiet, with no other guests visible. The staff member explained that everyone had retired to their rooms.
The next morning, I went to the office/snack area and found a very limited breakfast selection: orange juice in a pitcher few bagels, a few small cereal boxes, coffee, and hot chocolate. I grabbed a bagel with store-brand cream cheese poured myself some orange juice before returning to my room.
Despite the limited food, the staff, including owner Dewey, were all incredibly pleasant and treated me with kindness.
However, I can only give the resort two stars due to the following:
* Limited snacks: The website advertised snacks all day and lunch provided, but in reality, there were barely any. Breakfast was minimal, and throughout the day, the refrigerator only held cokes, Diet Coke, ice, and a small number of cheap cookies and tortilla chips from the dollar store (no salsa or other dips). This was highly disappointing, and I recommend bringing your own snacks or relying on food delivery services.
* Clothing Optional Misrepresentation: The website states it's clothing optional, but I was initially told to go nude by staff. I later learned another female guest had a similar experience. While I eventually complied, this initial experience was unexpected. The masseuse person and the housekeeper wear clothing, the front desk staff that checks you in and makes sure that you have what you need does not where any clothing.
* Limited Swinger-Friendliness: The resort felt more like a nudist resort where couples socialize and enjoy intimacy with their partners in close proximity to others, rather than a place for active swingers. As a single woman, I felt largely ignored by other guests.
* Limited Activities: The resort lacks dining options (no lunch or dinner). While some guests seemed unbothered, I found it inconvenient.
* Basic Accommodations: The rooms are somewhat dated with dirty doors. no phone in the rooms.However, they provide clean towels, bathrobes, a safe and TVs with cable and Hulu.
Positives:
* Friendly Staff: All staff members, from the front desk to the massage therapist, were incredibly kind and helpful.
* The resort offers a pool, sauna, dry sauna, and massage room.
* parking is free, and the area it’s in seems safe. This resort is located in a residential area.
Overall:
Sea Mountain Resort is more suitable for couples seeking a nudist experience with other couples, While the staff was exceptional, I would not personally return.

I'm only gonna say this once. They say they're clothing optional but they're really not. They're website says one thing but when you show up it's different. Dewey, listen to me, I know you're reading this right now, if you challenge me on this review I will go into serious detail about how your employees pressured my wife to take her bottoms off exposing her vagina despite the fact she's going though menopause and how another one of your employees, Evelyn, gave an elderly woman, who had hip replacement surgery with deep scars on her hip, to take her bottoms off getting totally naked despite the face she was self-conscious about her surgery scars. This place doesn't care about women with special medical needs.

We’ve been to SMI twice.
SMI feels like a friends backyard that’s been turned into a Bali Shangri-La escape. Lush garden and palm trees. Plenty of loungers under umbrellas.
Our 1st visit was a day pass, we had a welcoming experience by guests and staff. Really enjoyed visiting with the guests-heard multiple times how many had tried other LS spas, and kept coming back to SMI.
NO pressure to play with others. And lots of opportunities to observe. What you may not know already, is how respectful the LS community is. And how respected a couple’s boundaries are. We left wanting to return again and with new LS friends.
Our 2nd visit we stayed Friday-Sunday.
This was lovely. It was great to lounge poolside or in the pool/hot tub. LS folks are so friendly. And you feel very welcomed into the group.
Usually the play starts in the evening. Occasionally there is day time action poolside. The accommodation were comfortable and clean. That of a Marriott. The staff goes beyond accommodating your requests. They are professional while being friendly.
And the guests are equally accommodating. You’ll make fast friends.

Fun lifestyle

This was our second visit but the first time staying overnight. We loved it. The room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. Our AC could have been a little cooler but wo cares! We were naked the whole time! We just lounged around the pool and enjoyed each other. If we wanted privacy we would move to other areas around the property. The playrooms were clean and other couples were respectful. There were only couples or female employees present so it felt safe and balanced. We would definitely come back!
