Lydia, front desk young lady, was not just beautiful, but very knowledgeable and helpful. She knew exactly all the answer to whatever questions I brought up. A great assest to Holiday Inn Express.

Probably the worst hotel stay I've ever had

The location of the hotel was great.

Cons:

The parking situation was really difficult in the parking lot because people were always parking over the lines so badly that you can barely get in/out of the car.

The TV in the bedroom didn't work at all.

On the morning we were leaving, the power went off and never came back on. No one came to the rooms, so everyone had to figure it out themselves. We had to go down from the fourth floor stairs, but that didn't take you down to the lobby. We got down to the lobby and the front desk people were inhospitable and rude. We asked what was going on and only got one word answers. No breakfast today. No explanations, or plans for helping people get out of rooms since the keys don't work, elevator was out, etc. This place is not prepared for problems at all.

The breakfast is always top-notch here, but what was best for us was always the staff. This is the second time we have stayed here in the last three months, and both times we have been here, the staff have treated us like family. The check-in process was fast, and the check-out process was even faster. Also, I realized after I checked out that I had left my watch behind. I called the hotel front desk right away and they did not have anything turned in yet for the morning. They called me back within minutes to let me know that my watch was exactly where I had told them I had left it, and it would be waiting for me at the front desk. Though the watch is not of significant financial worth, the value is in the sentimentality of it and your staff was on it from the moment I called it in. I would call this quality customer service.
