Pictures are deceiving
Pros:

Nothing I cried and we left immediately.

Cons:

Everything. We almost got stuck in the elevator and the emergency phone was completely ripped out and the cleaning lady had a black eye and the stairs door was propped open by a towel so there was no safety in place to keep homeless out. The room was old but generally clean. We checked out immediately.

Great location. Inattentive staff.

Great location for getting to all the San Diego attractions. Close to the beach and easy access.

Mixed, awesome room, all else subpar.
Pros:

The room is awesome! Clean with all appliances in excellent condition. The sheets and cover were very comfy and the bathroom was exceptional with great shower pressure and has a bathtub, Floors are laminate and very clean. 10 of 10 for the room.

Cons:

All outside the room, the common areas are old, dirty and in dire need of renovation. The reception area had a bad smell to it as soon as you entered.

Pros:

If youre looking to explore San Diego and hotel is just a place for you to sleep, then this will do, but otherwise just pass on this place. When we first came in, the person at the front desk was helpful but seemed like he didnt want to be there. We got to our room, the floor was not clean, found something weird and sticky, found a few bugs, and the walls had pain chipping off all over the place. We got in at 2am and for some reason the alarm clock is set to go off at 5am to wake you up, which wasn’t appreciated. We realized we never got a wifi code, so when we went to pick up the phone, it was unplugged completely, when we plugged it in, no one picked up the phone for about 10 mins, we called customer service and even they couldnt even get ahold of someone (this was the next day around 6pm). Dont think I’ll be coming back here again

It wasn’t horrible, but it also was not as advertised I feel not only that but other guests that we came with his rooms

Everything was very convenient and close to location

Cons:

The room need more attention we had ants in the bathroom and tube everyday even when I cleaned it they would come back. I reported it to the office and no one ever got back to me. The beds kept falling off of the actual bottom it would slide. Made it un uncomfortable at night. None of the ice machines didn’t work besides one that was on the opposite side of our room.
