The beds were very clean and. Comfortable. The location was excellent in walking distance of all of central Halifax. A view would have been a bonus but not everyone can have a view.

The smell of the loby and floor of room was not clean. Homeless people sleeping outside made it uncomfortable leaving and entering the building at night.

The price was extremely high due to the Rolex Sail GP. I don't think the hotel was booked out. For that price I would have awaited a better location.

I noticed several negative reviews about the recent renovations (now complete) and I felt compelled to leave this review. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a city view. The hotel is like a brand new building and the rooms are clean, bright and large. The bathrooms are also large. I really enjoyed the property and it is close to central Halifax. Would stay here again. Cathy at the Front Desk was extremely helpful.

50.00$plus tax and tip for seniors ..at 400.00$ per day this was away to much.. the room had one chair And when asked for second chair a kitchen chair came which we declined room had very poor lighting and no clock? One day they forgot to leave any towels! We were not impressed.for aco
At a cost of over 1800.00$ for four nights l would think twice in the future.
