Nice staff, dirty room.
Pros:

The parking was nice to have, as it’s very hard to park in Berkeley when there’s events happening. And the staff was SO nice and friendly.

Cons:

The photos are a total catfish. These were obviously taken right after remodel and the facilities/rooms do not look like this in real life. The room was not clean enough for my standards, especially considering “cleanliness” is the only factor I look for when selecting a hotel.

Pros:

I stayed here when it was still a Travelodge. This is a big upgrade within the price point. The bed was great, the bathroom upgraded, and the housekeeping was excellent.

Terrible motel, Price outrageous, did not feel safe

Nothing was really great about this property. The promotion and photos are entirely misleading.

Cons:

On the site, the hotel looks well kept and modern. In reality it is a crumbling small motel with very poor rooms and facilities. The "breakfast" was a packaged sweet roll in the office, there was no place to sit. It was also in a sketchy neighborhood, but I expected it to be a little off the track. My biggest issue is that I did not feel entirely safe in this location and the photos and ratings were entirely misleading. I asked for water and they had none. Not even coffee in the room

The stay was fine. The location served our purposes.
Pros:

The rooms are quite small and very basic. Surge pricing had this hotel at $400 a night which had it not been for the UC Berkeley Parents weekend, I would never have considered paying for this property.

Cons:

Rooms were too small and the poor price to value ratio was disappointing.

Opción de emergencia en la ciudad.
Pros:

Un hotel bien ubicado en Berkeley, desde el que te puedes mover a pie por la ciudad universitaria y por el centro. Tenía aparcamiento para el coche. suficiente para una noche, con los servicios mínimos

Cons:

La realidad no se parece a las fotos. Las calidades son mucho peores. La cama no es cómoda. mucho ruido desde la calle y de las habitaciones vecinas. La opción de desayuno es un café de cortesía en la recepción.

Want great but served it purpose.
Pros:

Walking distance to the Greek Theatre on the Cal Berkeley campus. We had concert tickets and wanted something close. The bathroom was clean.

Cons:

Not a great part of town. Wasn’t really kept up very well. Chips in the paint and black dirt and scuff marks on the walls and doors. Homeless ( I assume) yelling outside in middle of the night.
