Noisy motel with smelly AC and bad wifi
Pros:

Location is good, close to UC Berkeley.

Cons:

It’s a motel, close to busy street and very noisy. You can hear cars and buses’ noise from 5am. People are talking and passing by your window from early morning too. Its AC has very unpleasant smell so that I didn’t turn on the AC all night long. WiFi is bad. I can’t browse any websites unless I used my own data.

Great location to UC Theater.
Pros:

The property was well kept. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly.
The room was clean.
The location was perfect for our needs.
I felt comfortable/safe with my car in the parking lot.

Cons:

The beds could be more comfortable. They were hard and not a soft pillow top.
The back of the entry door and wall were kind of dirty but that didn’t affect the stay at all.

Pros:

It was within walking distance to everything including a Trader Joe’s across the street. My check in person was very friendly and genuine. We were able to park right in front of our room which I love and the room has a nice bedroom feel. Doesn’t feel like a hotel. The bed was very comfortable and smelled very clean. Soft bathroom towels and plenty of them. Amazing air conditioner that didn’t cause any grief, wasn’t loud and actually worked!

Cons:

This is really even a complaint because I’ll definitely return. But it could use better attention to detail on cleaning. Like finger prints on the bathroom door and grungy bathroom corners. But nothing extreme at all, everything else including the bed was very comfortable and clean.
