Expensive, poor checkout experience, bad breakfast, not value for money. Can walk to Berkeley.
Pros:

Not much to recommend for this property. Its walking distance to Berkeley so stayed there.

Cons:

1. Staff (mexican guy with glasses) was very rude at the time of checkout - we stayed there for several weeks so we have a pretty good idea of what is good/what is not.
2. Breakfast is the same every *single* day... I think breakfast included is a misnomer - it should be qualified to say basic or something more.
3. The janitors were a mixed breed - one of them pretty much faked cleaning the room and bathroom - strongly recommend you take this up with the front desk
4. Lots of homeless people wandering around at night so be careful.

Worst hotel experience ever and would not recommend to anyone.
Pros:

Didn’t like anything they left us on a street in a town we aren’t familiar with. Sold our room to another family before we arrived. Refused to refund us or give us another room to stay in. Claimed they were booked but still had available rooms online. Front desk worker was rude with attitude.

Cons:

Worst experience ever. Hotel staff aren’t helpful and will sell your room to make more money. Will not refund you so you will be at a loss. For those traveling from far I wouldn’t recommend this location they made my trip extremely stressful. I was left with out a place to rest and I traveled over 9 hours.

We needed a place to crash but definitely didn’t match the pictures
Pros:

It was in a decent location

Cons:

There were stains on the lamp and on the walls. When we first got there, there was a huge spider on the side of the bed

Pros:

The location was good, nice and close enough to UC Berkeley. A few coffe shops within 5 mins walking and a Trader Joe's.

Cons:

It's more of a motel than a hotel. The room was okay, but my sink didn't drain well and would fill up with water whenever someone in the room next door used theirs. Disgusting. They also put me in the wrong room at check-in and the next morning asked me to move.

No sleep
Cons:

Couldn't get sleep due to alot of noise. Not sure what was going on. I called front desk around 2am because there was still alot of noise. Called into office the following day and spoke with someone who had no customer service skills. He was no help at all just like the lady at front desk at 2am.

Convenient location for visiting friends in Berkeley while on a roadtrip!
Pros:

Parking lot was easy to access and there were spots in front of our rooms. Bed was comfortable. Having a mini fridge really helped. Appreciated the breakfast selection despite the tiny office space it was provided in.

Cons:

The two handicapped parking spaces were at a 90-degree angle to each other, and when a large truck was parked in one, it blocked my SUV in the other, which was really scary.
The beds in my mom's room were so close to the desk/dresser that we couldn't move the desk chair past them to give my mom a place to sit on the side the bed where her walker fit.

We both did not care for the fan being always on in the bathroom with no switch to turn it off.
In my room, the seal of the floor between bedroom and bathroom was broken all across the doorway, which felt like a hazard.

The alarm clock in my room not only had the wrong time (off by 5 or 6 hours), but it was in military time and couldn't be changed by the guest (trust me: I tried!), so when I realized I didn't have my phone charger with me and couldn't get into my mom's room while she was asleep because my copy of her key card stopped working, I couldn't set an alarm for myself (there was no one in the office, either).
This was my fault, but having a functional alarm clock is basic. Having an updated clock with USB ports is now expected at motels, and I'd love a universal charger to be included! :-)

Dark room, cold shower, no bedside lights, lousy breakfast. Sandpaper towels. Don't stay here.
Pros:

Train was delayed. We phoned that we'd be late and were assured we'd be able to check in until 5am. Location was very convenient to downtown Berkeley. Groceries and restaurants nearby.

Cons:

Address was wrong on Maps. Driver delivered us to the wrong hotel at first. It's not a hotel, it's a rundown motel. Nightstand electric outlets/USB did not work. No bedside lamps. Only harsh overhead lighting. Room very dark in daylight. Cold shower any time of day or night, even if we let the water run. Toilet roll holder slanted downward, paper kept falling off. No towel racks.
Harsh towels. Terrible breakfast. Room key stopped working. Had to get new one. Som said it happened to him three times. rude desk clerks. Noisy guests outside. Rates excessive for quality. Does not deserve Best Western label. Terrible!

Not up to Best Western standards, rooms very small.
Pros:

Bads were comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Not up to best western standards. Not a hotel it is motel. Breakfast was terrible! Our toilet seat was broken with one holding bolt missing so vary hard to sit on seat without it falling off.
