I love the history of the hotel and its position close to the water. The sunset was beautiful.
Pros:

I have stayed in the single room before. It provides a large bathroom and everything else I required.

Cons:

I am an older person so found carrying my suitcase up the stairs wasn't particularly good for my back.

Country Pub done very well.
Pros:

The Marlo Hotel is a very important place in Marlo. It is a meeting place for locals and a welcoming place for tourists to stay. Upon arrival, Sherry checked us in and showed us to our room and then proceeded to serve drinks and meals at the bar. Her Tommy's Margaritas are tremendous and the meals at the pub are very good and very popular. Our room was spacious and had it's own enormous bathroom as well as a private verandah. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very clean. It is easy to see why the place is so popular.

Cons:

There was a bit of noise from the hallway outside the door, but staying in a pub you can expect that some of the guests get a little boisterous.

Not happy due to lack of sleep - main priority. Pub was good.
Pros:

Great atmosphere on Good Friday afternoon. Pub was very busy. Most staff were great. Didn't have a booking for dinner, so sent away. We offered to eat as quick as possible at 5.30 and got a good feed. Pool table was fun and had a couple of drinks before an early night in bed due to travelling. All turned pear shaped with super noisy twin bed room. Constant water hammer, struggled to sleep

Cons:

Ridiculous that they haven't sorted out the water hammer which is terrible being next to the hot water system, but also did it on cold water too. Surely we are NOT the only people to have mentioned this. We were travelling and tried going to bed early, TV up load couldn't drown out the noise. Because you are aware it just puts your whole night out of sync. Had a big day of travels next day, came close to crashing from poor nights sleep and fatigue. Seriously spend a few bucks and get it sorted. We came here to sleep and recover, didn't get that.
