Location, close to everything
No elevator, small room, a bit smelly, it was expensive for that room
Close to our venue
TV didn’t work…had to get the desk person to get it going.
Continental breakfast was pretty simple and nobody was cleaning up after themselves so the breakfast room was not a pretty sight.
After taxes added the total was $404 and the value was definitely not there.
The motel might rank a 3 or 4 star in some remote Africa country but not in Calgary. It’s an old facility but more attention to cleanliness would go far in attracting clients.
We won’t be using Travelodge after this experience…

Ground floor room access to outside without having to leave the room
Poorly set up for new guest arrival dismissal coffee & supplies
No Xtra blanket the room was booked for 3 adults I had to call down for towels & such no bath mats
Somewhat tardy to arrive at the lobby I told both the front desk & staff in the breakfast room that we would be having our complimentary breakfast staff continued to remove food items despite my request poorly done
