Location and staff
Rooms need upgrading bad
Can't say I liked to much at all. Literally everything was bare minimum.
Bathroom leaking above us into our bathroom. Over charge of valet parking. The shower had no shower curtain. The bathtub had no working water stopper. The bathroom was terribly small. Overall just uncomfortable.
Location and layout of the property
The beautiful pool was not cleaned and full of algae.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable.
AC was not adjustable and room was warmer than preferred.
The bathrooms are falling apart and the air conditioning does not keep up, even when it's 73 outside. The tub stays filled for 5-7 minutes after a quick shower. I visited other rooms of our party and they are all similarly unkept.
Good location. Room quite spacious
Facilties not great. Gym tiny, lacking equipment, pool green and then not in use, bathroom dated and hadnt been cleaned well, chewing gum on floor next to bin
I liked how close the facility is to bourbon street.
The smell… it’s smells HORRIBLE! We went out and brought items to try to make the room smell okay. The bed toilet and toilet were broken, too. Additionally, there was a dampness to the room. I left money out and it was wet when we woke up. If you have asthma this is not the place for you! Then they have the nerve to charge 50 for parking per night.
The location
The room was very very small we barely could move in it
It was quiet.
Bathroom was subpar, sink didn't drain and toilet was difficult to flush. Lamp in the bedroom didn't work, literally had to unscrew the bulb to turn it off at night.
Tv was not working had to have someone come fix it. Volume was very low at full volume. Could not change channel by up and down, had to press the home button to go to the menu.
Fridge did not work.
Would not let us pull up and drop off luggage, had to lug it all 2 blocks.
Ice machine out of order on our floor. 2nd night ice was out on 3rd floor, had to go to another floor (2nd) to get ice!
No microwave, had to go downstairs.
Was charged $15 extra than I was supposed to be. Was told they would take care of it at checkout. Woman at checkout said she will have to leave a message for her manager, she can't do anything. She said it looks like taxes. I pulled up the email and tried showing her I was already charged taxes. She got an attitude and said again she will send to her manager. As of 4/1/26 have hear from NO ONE.
Tried calling from the room phone a few times and no one aswered.
Blanket was very thin.
Was either too cold or too hot. Came in on 2nd day and was very hot in room. Turned it down low, never would come on. Had to turn it to off then back on for it to finally turn on. Very old turn nob thermostat.
Both door cards stopped working, had to go downstairs.
Tub did not have a stopper.
Still can't believe you have to pay $50 PLUS tax for parking each night.
No breakfast or anything included.
One of the elevators made a lot of noise, scared my son.
I would have left a day early if I did not do the advance reservation. My friend was not having it and luckily did not do advanced, she left after 1 night because she was not satisfied too.
Love this little boutique hotel. The pool and the courtyard are beautiful. The restaurant offers a yummy breakfast. And the staff is very nice and on top of things I particularly enjoyed my conversations and interactions with Shantrell who worked at the front desk. It’s super walkable to lots of things including Bourbon Street.
We were meeting friends in NOLA and needed to stay in a hotel close to the RV park where they would camp. Maison Dupuy had good ratings, nice pictures of the courtyard and the price was ok. When we arrived I was disappointed to find a tired, damaged, dirty place. And then I also discovered it was $50/night to park. The elevator buttons are barely hanging on. The inside of the elevator looks like there’s been years of drunks fighting. When we arrived on the 4th floor we were met with the filthiest, frayed rugs I’ve ever seen. The sheets on our bed were clean but had a hole in them. So did the bath mat. Cheap bath products. On the good side, the bed slept well. Shower water was warm. The receptionist was always helpful. The bistro area is beautiful, full of sunlight with music at night. The food is mediocre. If I had it to do again, I would have chosen a better hotel.
Lovely little gem! Room was clean and quiet, staff very friendly. Easy walking distance to all the fun!
The location was perfect! Within walking distance of pretty much everything. The room itself was nice with a beautiful view of the courtyard. You could not hear really anything else going on from the room which was nice. Everyone working at the hotel was SOOO nice and helpful giving great advice on where to go eat and activities.
Our first couple of days at this hotel were rough. The hotel is old, which is part of its charm, but can certainly use updating in several aspects. The A/C in our room did not work, the tub drain did not function, and there was some mold on the ceiling. After contacting maintenance, the issues were not addressed. Several staff members there were dismissive whenever we asked for help with something or asked for advice on where to eat, etc. HOWEVER, upon talking with Chantrell at the front desk, everything changed for the better. She helped us change our rooms and ensured that we felt comfortable and accommodated. Between her and Jonika, our stay went from nightmarish to wonderful.
Looking back on the experience, the hotel is in a great location. Just far enough from Bourbon street that the noise is not overwhelming but still at the center of everything. The pool area is wonderful and the restaurant is fun in the evenings on weekends.
Great value and great location! Small hotel and in a perfect location to Bourbon Street. Hotel is a little old but has a pool and nice courtyard. Front desk is not staffed well so could take a while to check in/out but overall great value for the price.
Still here on day 4 of 6. Booked this specifically for the “heated pool” - it is not heated. Our daughter is very disappointed.
Room smells like wet dog or sweaty sporting equipment.
Shower is warm but never hot.
Room was dirty when we checked in. No hangers, no drawers to unpack into except 2 by the fridge.
Housekeeping has fixed the fixable dirt since we first checked but the smell can’t be fixed.
The two stars i am giving this is for the Staff, who are pleasant and professional, and it isnt their fault.
Very poor value. $280USD per night on weekends. Would not return.
