Sanom Beach Resort - Adults Only

We are staying at this hotel from December 25, 2025, to January 1, 2026, and unfortunately we are disappointed.

All rooms have connecting doors, and we can clearly hear the neighbors talking, slamming wardrobe doors, and even showering. During our stay — and we have already been here for six days — the bed linen has not been changed even once. This has never happened to us before in our lives.

Housekeeping is poor: toilet paper is not replenished, and neither soap nor shower gel is refilled, so we had to buy everything ourselves. The mirror has been dirty since our arrival and has never been cleaned.

There were ants in the room, and we also saw a cockroach. Cockroaches are also running around the hotel grounds.

Once, when my daughter was taking a shower, yellow, dirty water started coming out.

The water in the pool is cold, so we do not use it. We only use the jacuzzi, but the water there is dirty. Overall, everything looks quite worn out — the towels, the furniture, and the renovation.

What we did like: the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice rooms, modern and clean, but some are quite dark facing.
Biggest worry was the inter joining door (so two apartments can be one) this had no VISIBLE /physical security lock on our side, so was a worry- this door also carried a lot of sound from the adjoining apartment.
Later check out was expensive for the value.
Very variable rates to book, and booking direct was more expensive?
Swimming pool did not have enough sunbeds (and many were 'blocked' with towel hogs that were never removed!
Nice quiet location and friendly helpful check in staff.
SUMMARY:
Nice room and staff, but too many Extra fees (safe, late check out etc) left with bad feeling.

Location is excellent. Rooms are average. Biggest drawdown is paper thin doors between rooms, so you can basically hear a normal conversation from the room next door. I expect better sound proofing than this and it's a shame because if it weren't for this I would consider coming back.

We have stayed here quite regularly, and will continue to several times a year.

The hotel is extremely well run, in a great location , very clean and competitively priced.

The rooms are a little basic but very comfortable, each room has its own terrace and some rooms are better positioned, in our opinion, it depends whether you want to overlook the pool or like a little more privacy. Great air con.
Most importantly , it’s a peaceful well kept development with full amenities.

The service from all the team is polite and friendly, they run a tight ship and these guys work VERY hard. The bar food is good.

The hotel is well located, bars and restaurants nearby, stumbling distance to/from Yumbo.

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, which is why we keep coming back!

The location, outside space, staff and room facilities are great. The only let down for me is the majority of rooms have interconnected doors so you can hear most things between the rooms. The gym is very basic. Just a few dumbbells and a treadmill.

All the staff are very friendly welcoming and helpful. Everything is spotless and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Check in freundlich Zimmer vor allem das Bad dreckig. Braune Flecken und Stücke auf den hellen Fliesen muss man denke ich nicht akzeptieren. Ich dachte erst dass die Duschtasse alt und abgenutzt sei, nö da war der Dreck nur festgepappt konnte man aber entfernen, habe ich angemahnt, wurde nicht behoben. Vor der letzten Nacht mussten wir frischen Handtüchern hinterherlaufen, Putzfee hat die Toilettenbrille gecrasht ohne Bescheid zu sagen🙈 angemahnt, kein Wechsel .. nie wieder, ab ins Nayra

Av olika skäl uppstod behov av hotellvistelse m kort varsel. Receptionist i särklass som jag tycker speglar hotellets inställning. Jag kände mig priviligerad.
Nära till Mercadona storköp 900 m. Gillar jag. Och stilpoäng att man kan få handduk gjord för bad på strand eller pool. Strand ca 20 min promenad. Väl värt promenaden. Pool med bar på hotellet förstås. Bara att välja. Jag kände mig utvald, inget dussin hotell staplad med lgh. Numer som äldre (66 år) saknar jag inte familjer i omgivningen. Är klar med det livet.

Le resort pourrait être un très bel hôtel, mais mon séjour a révélé de nombreux problèmes qui ne sont pas acceptables pour un 4 étoiles.

Le ménage est effectué de manière totalement aléatoire : certains jours, tout allait bien avec des petites attentions, d’autres jours il manquait serviettes et gel douche, que j’ai dû réclamer plusieurs fois à l’accueil. Pendant 8 nuits, mes draps n’ont jamais été changés.

La chambre m’a été attribuée avec vue piscine (sans que je l’aie demandée), ce qui s’est traduit par un bruit constant, accentué le week-end par des groupes entiers hurlant autour de la piscine. La porte communicante entre les chambres est très mal insonorisée : le bruit des voisins et même l’odeur de cannabis envahissaient ma chambre, ce qui a rendu le repos impossible.

Le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas au rendez-vous : petit déjeuner beaucoup trop cher pour ce qui est proposé, restaurant hors de prix pour une qualité moyenne, et un personnel inégal (certains agréables, d’autres nettement moins).

Enfin, le dernier soir, j’ai eu la désagréable surprise de trouver des cafards dans la chambre, malgré la présence visible de répulsifs installés. Cela montre qu’il y a un véritable problème d’hygiène.

Au final, trop d’irrégularités et de désagréments pour un établissement affichant 4 étoiles. Dommage, car le potentiel est là, mais la gestion et le suivi ne sont clairement pas à la hauteur.

Sehr ruhig, ideal zum erholen. Alles ist gut im Schuss. Modern, sauber unf nicht überlaufen. Würde das sofort wieder buchen👌

After first time they really fixed it. Love staying here but still have a small issue with to long time at the bar either making drinks or to much small talk with guests when it's busy or not there.

Absolutely stunning place. Rooms beautiful beds comfy aircon amazing. The grounds are immaculate, plenty of sunbeds all day. Food & cocktails reasonable. Chris behind the bar a credit to the team, very polite and hard working lovely young lady 👌

Herlig hotell, stille og rolig! Deilig at ingen barn har lov her. Hyggelig ansatte og god service i baren og resepsjonen.

I was a bit disappointed with accommodation. Room was not properly cleaned. Towels and tea not replaced. Sheets not changed. People jumping into pool. Reception staff very friendly bit no sign of a housekeeper.
