Nice facility, plenty parking. The room has a balcony with a bathtub, which is a nice feature that one can enjoy a private bath time in open air.
If you don’t have a dinner reservation, you are most likely would be eating cup noodles or food bought in a nearby drug store. Nothing opened near the hotel for dinner.

Prachtig gelegen hotel met mooi uitzicht op de Sakurajima. Vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt. De onsen is echt geweldig!
部屋にお風呂がついていてそれが快適。もちろん大浴場のお風呂も気持ちよかったです。特に露天風呂からの景色は最高。
霧島付近の観光地へのアクセスも便利でした。
お風呂がきれいでした。貸し切り風呂も いろいろ入れて良かったです。お風呂上りの アイスとか 夜のラーメン 美味しかったです。朝風呂の時に 前の池に 青鷺が いて 一緒に入浴してるようで 感激しました。
へやが 端の方で 景色が 今一つでした。林はあったのですが
霧島の壮大さを 期待していたので 残念でした。

breakfast was great, and we absolutely loved the onsen! There are several small restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is conveniently located near hiking trails and other sightseeing spots. Our room was spacious and comfortable for a family of four, which we really appreciated.
We haven’t stayed at many hotels in Japan with so many additional fees, and the taxes added up to quite a bit at checkout. The dinner we had one night was also very pricey for what it was, so I wouldn’t recommend it. One thing to note is that several of the lights in the bedrooms are motion-activated, so they would turn on whenever someone got up to use the bathroom during the night. This could be disruptive if you’re a light sleeper. The hotel offered either maid service or extra towels, but it wasn’t clear whether housekeeping came with an additional fee, so we opted out. We also weren’t quite sure where to dispose of all our trash after a four-night stay, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, despite a few drawbacks and unexpected costs, our kids had a great time, and the hotel was a relaxing place to stay.
