As beautiful and comfortable as this hotel is (and it is), the staff here made the stay exceptional
Pros:

The food was delicious, both at dinner in the bar and at Lil’s for breakfast. The staff there were friendly and helpful from reception onwards. The wait staff were so focused and prompt. Clearly a diligent bunch of people. Customer experience is a high priority. The hotel itself is comfortable and very interestingly decorated. It’s so tastefully eclectic. The eye is never bored, and in a fun way. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel, great location with good food and friendly staff
Pros:

Lovely Boutique hotel with comfortable rooms, good food and very friendly, helpful staff. We did not have dinner or breakfast included in our initial on line booking but we were able to book upon arrival. The restaurant was busy and fully booked but we were happy to sit in the bar. The bar menu had a nice variety of choices to suit and cater for all needs. In the morning lovely choice on Al carte breakfast menu. Waiting staff even though busy were attentive and friendly. Wonderful amenities like Discovery Park short walk away from Hotel is a great spot for walking, with a number of different activities ie like zip lining for the brave of heart. The craft village in old Estate Farmyard has unique craft shops and bespoke designers to browse and buy gifts or treat yourself. Would highly recommend a visit to Castlecomer even a short stay.

Business trip with overnight in Castlecomer
Pros:

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. One girl stood out she has a lovely smile and nice personality. She knows who she is we even shook hands on my departure. Occasionally I meet exceptional people and its nice when I do.

Cons:

No issues really. I arrived late up from Cork and was to late for a meal, however a take away from the chipper in the square was fine

An unexpected gem
