I wish we'd stayed here for a week instead of the gite we hired much further south!
Pros:

Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and buffet style so it was easy to pick what you wanted.

The room itself was stunning. My guess is that it's probably a honeymoon suite, but it's great (mostly great) for families too. Our teenagers got a separate double sofa bed each, what's not to love? The room had plenty of windows and sky-lights and it caught the breeze, so even though it was a hot day, the breeze cooled the room beautifully at night.
And it was so quiet.
And the views from the window at the 11th century church and village.
And the parking is close, even if there isn't space in front of the hotel
And the independent restaurant that the hotel is partly above is FABULOUS, the chef is very talented.

We would go back again like a shot. It's on our list of places to go, stay and explore for the future.

Cons:

My children would have liked a shower that had some privacy in the bedroom - as it was quite open to the suite, much to my son's horror. It was an AMAZING bedroom suite, and it would be fine with little children who would find the bath (with attached shower) very exciting indeed. But teenagers? no....
