One of the best locations in NY due to the closeness to the city by only two metro stations and very safe area due to police efficiency in NY. Was there for business but enjoyed to the max. The crew was very helpful and the hotel was very new when I traveled.
NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AT RECEPTION FOR A SIMPLE QUESTIONS. AND WHEN THEY DO NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING AND TRANSFERS YOU! I NEED SOMEONE TO REACH OUT TO ME. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!
Great stay loved
But for the cost, its a great value. Close to the trains into Manhattan. Enough amenities, groceries, restaurants, etc are close by, its fine for traveling on a budget. Tough to find a room with 2 queens without paying a lot.
Yea
Our experience at this hotel was fine in every respect. Much better than the last time we stayed there, which was during COVID. Our room was very clean and attractive - not large but more than adequate by NYC standards. My wife heard noise from the nearby subway, but I slept right through it. Breakfast was a MAJOR improvement over last visit; a good selection of cererals, pastries, yogurt, etc, served in a spacious, quiet room. No problem at check-in or check-out, and they had no problem with our waiting in the lobby for over an hour after checkout to meet our son. The metro is about two short blocks away. Not many restaurants nearby, but we knew that. Parking was difficult; we arrived around 2 pm and had to circle several blocks several times, but eventually got a spot right across the street from the hotel. Patience is the key! Only minor drawback; the building next door is a former hotel now used to house homeless women, and a couple of them were out on the street shouting and acting very disturbed. But, everybody's gotta live somewhere.
A nice place to stay while in New York.
Room rates lower than a Manhattan hotel to this add 2-3 subway stations closeby the hotel is well connected with both Manhattan and JFK.
The rooms are nice and fairly small but offers the basics while visiting.
The inclded breakfast is not really worth it being-grab-and-go with lots of single use plastics i.e., not ECO-friendly. If you want bread, cheese and fresh fruit for breakfast you will have to bring it yourself.
Only had hot water the first night, and after that, only cold water. They don't really offer breakfast, don't go based on that. If you are new in New York, don't expect the staff to guide you or help you, they are simply rude. Also, no REFRIGERATOR. If you hope to bring some water and keep it cold, you'll be out of luck.
The hotel is not in the best neighborhood although I felt safe inside. Walking around at night is not recommended. Right next door is a homeless shelter. Police department is nearby. Also near is a main thoroughfare with a lot of different stores and businesses. Late night kiosk 2 blocks away.
The front desk staff are very, very nice and helpful. Late night check in was no problem. Luggage storage is at the desk so it's all visible. The desk is essentially always manned. My things were handled well and were safe.
There's a couch and a chair in the lobby. Tea, hot chocolate, and water are freely available downstairs. This area is quite large with a lot of seating. The space was great for me when I needed to do a little bit of work after I checked out. There's hardly anyone there except for housekeeping staff, who put bags of laundry to just sit out there.
Amenities were scant (Paul Mitchell), but when I asked for things, they were readily available. I went to ask the housekeeper next door for something not in my room and she immediately left to get it for me. Unfortunately, she also came right in just after she knocked.
Most rooms don't have a fridge, mine did with a very small freezer. There were lots of decent quality towels, but no towel rack. The shower was nice with a glass door, good water pressure and a sort of rainfall shower. There were no adjustments on the shower head but it was movable.
The latest check out is at noon with an automatic charge at 12:30 PM.
friendly receptionists
Says including breakfast, but it’s misleading because it’s refreshments
I liked cleaning and i don’t like breakfest
Rooms are small, great city views, has everything you need for a lower price than staying in Manhattan.
Breakfast is nothing to write home about; grab and go style (not hot). Don’t expect to eat if you have any dietary restrictions. But after reading other reviews I had pretty low expectations and wasn’t disappointed
Fairly newly built hotel, with smallish basic rooms, lacking fridge, microwave. Disappointing breakfast. Things work, rates are reasonable, just do not expect too much! Staff is helpful. My room on the fifth floor was quite noisy: from the street below and the subway trains running nearby.
It was okay but No hot water ag all, not even lukewarm, no amenities like a gym, no late checkout option.
Property very deceiving from outside looks welcoming. No hot water to shower. Breakfast included in room price not worth it. Black coffee, no creamer or milk. Dry box of cereal with no milk for cereal. All people at Hotel were very let down with this service. I will never come back or recommend this place.

A very good value hotel close to transport links to Manhattan. Good local restaurants nearby. Breakfast is simple but OK. Rooms are nice, only three pillows between two! Can't get an extra one if you ask. Hot water can take a long time to flow.
For NYC this was pretty good. Shower takes a long time to heat up but does eventually get there. The bed and main room was clean but the bathroom had a few issues - there was a Kleenex box with what looked like dirty tissue stuffed in it, and the vent was partially falling out of the ceiling. The hotel was quiet, the staff were polite. We did not try the breakfast. We had to check out early at 5am and there was no one at the desk - ultimately I just had to leave the keys there because no one came even though the front door was open (so anyone could just walk in).
Was moved to 3 different rooms due to mosquito infestation. The room I ended up getting had mold and living moving bugs around the toilet. I have stayed here a few times this year and never had a cleanliness issue, but this night was atrocious. Not sure if I will ever stay here again.
The hotel was clean, It took over 5 minutes for shower water to get hot.
Area around hotel was dirty & noisy.
