Amazing experience.
Pros:

First impression is a lasting impression!!
After a hectic and long flight with an infant as soon as we arrived at the hotel late in the night we were met with the most hospitable and courteous staff at the check-in. Mr Syed the manager on duty at the desk was quick and efficient and in no time ensured we are in the comfort of our room. Despite the odd hour of the night Syed was full of options to suggest thanks to his local expertise.
Our luggage had to follow later from the airport and John at the front desk took personal care to ensure the luggage is received signed for and delivered and kept us updated throughout of the progress. Knowing it is our first trip to Singapore they both ensured the best available options and attractions are on our list.

Lovely, historic hotel with easy access to Little India
Pros:

Great location with everything needed within walking distance. Unfortunately, the hotel was surrounded by construction but out side of the building was quiet with easy access to outdoor restaurants.

Cons:

Very expensive breakfast and a meal voucher only good for dinners, which were also very expensive, so we did not use them and found other eateries instead.

Pros:

En face de l'hôtel, il y a une pizzeria et quelques petits commerces bien pratiques pour des encas ou passer une fin de soirée agréable. Les prix et la qualité sont corrects. C'est très animé.
Le personnel de l'hôtel se charge de vous garder les bagages dans l'attente d'obtenir votre chambre. Pareil, lorsque vous quittez l'établissement.

Cons:

Selon la chambre que vous obtenez, vous n'aurez pas de place pour ranger vos vêtements et il vaut mieux ne pas avoir trop de bagages. Même si les 19m2 annoncés sont bien présents, les rangements restent mal organisés et insuffisants. Mais, certaines chambres fournissent des placards bien adaptés pour une semaine. Il suffirait d'un peu plus d'organisation pour que tout soit parfait.

Good in parts….
Pros:

This is a flawed hotel & could be significantly better.
Tha position in central Singapore is excellent- it lies close to Chinatown and little India and the MRT network. The front of house staff are irreproachable.

But: the rooms are tiny. No bottled water is supplied. There is a bar… but it has been closed since Covid struck. Breakfasts try to approach mediocrity: choice of food from the buffet is quite limited - if you can get to it, as there is so little space around it and collisions are inevitable at busy times. It wouldn’t take much to improve it significantly, but if I could fing another hotel as well located, I would.

Good Location
Pros:

A well situated and basic Hotel within easy reach of all tourist areas. The rooms were clean and can be booked at a reasonable rate. The staff were friendly and you were made to feel welcome. The only drawback was that currently there is a massive 24 hour construction project taking place. We overlooked this and it was noisy at night. If you make sure that you get a room that does not overlook these works.

First time to Singapore. Loved our 2 night stay
Pros:

Our room got upgraded. Loved the big living area space. Nice shower and water pressure. Comfy bed! Great location. Love the courtyard area. Staff super friendly and helpful

Cons:

Some powerpoints didn’t work. Light switches a little bit confusing.

A very pleasant stay
Pros:

Enjoyable short stay. I was greeted with a complimentary jar of cookies and vouchers to spend at nearby bars which served delicious food. All the staff were helpful, friendly and courteous and my room was clean and comfortable. A special thank you to Jamal for his kindness.
