Staff is cold and distant. Rooms adequate. Breakfast non-existent. The have photos of apples and apples on the wall. But no such items. Breakfast consists of two choices of stale cereal, white toast, and two stale muffins nobody dared touch, except me. The findge is empty. There is nothing to put in the microwave. The coffee tastes like the machine has never been cleaned.
The plexiglass in front of the check-in desk gives the bank like feel. Not the Bailey's Savings and Loan, but the Potter we need to charge you a bank fee because you are a fifteen seconds late.
They charge for the entire stay on check-in because they know most would bail after the first night. And they run the card a second time and actually charge the deposit, not just preauthorize.
I am on day one. This review will likely be revised.
When booking the room there was nowhere stating anything about a $50 deposit. So when I got there to check in and pay I was told there was a $50 refundable deposit. Finally head to the room and the first floor was the nicest of the three that I seen. Get to our room and it’s hot found out the ac wasn’t working. Got to move rooms even tho the girl was acting like she didn’t want to switch us. $1.50 for a can drink is outrageous especially when they only take change and no bills. There was trash in the stairwell, people slamming their doors all night long. Found a homeless man sleeping on the 3rd floor in the stairwell one morning while leaving and when we came back he was asleep in the 2nd floor stairwell.
When checking out went to get my deposit back and it was a different lady. Handed her my room key and the paper but because we moved rooms she couldn’t find my cash deposit that was put in an envelope with my name on it.
Everything was great
Staff was friendly rooms where clean ac cold very nice hotel
My truck was broken into and vandalized in the parking lot and the staff couldn't find the security camera footage of it
This hotel is very unfriendly to bicyclists. My wife and I were in Fort Worth recently visiting family and friends. We always bring our bicycles when we visit because of the wonderful hike and bike trails DFW offers.
Upon reporting a minor unrelated issue with my room to the front desk clerk, I was informed that bicycles are not allowed in the room.
As a long time Wyndham customer, I had never encountered this policy anywhere else. In fact, one of the areas we usually stay at Wyndham hotels is they either sponsor or partner with a number of bicycle events my wife and I participate in.
The clerk informed me in a less than professional manner that the manager will be notified and if there's an issue, he will take it up with me.
Thankfully, no further action was taken by the hotel. However, the whole incident cast an unnecessary pall on what was otherwise a very nice weekend.
Obviously, I will not be back here. My advice to cyclists would be to pass on this hotel too.
The room had a ball of hair on the floor, the toilet had what looked like a pee spot on it which I used a wet hand towel to get clean. The tub drain was discolored and had no stopper.
.
Stay was quiet and clean. Breakfast was not good.
Great place!
Needs updating in all the rooms also my room had a leak from the ceiling
Looks nothing like the pictures, breakfast consists of stale cereal. Dirty room laundry was left in the hallway all weekend. Bathroom was moldy. Toilet barely worked, you had to flush several times for everything to go down. Desk clerk was never around. Had to actually call the hotel to get her to come to the desk.
AC leaked all over carpet. Toilet hardly flushed. Could hardly understand staff.
It’s just nasty dirty it’s super outdated floors dnt match
The Staff were very polite and professional.
Unfortunately, I was asked if I ‘work in the area’ by a fella looking for some comfort. Lots of big rigs park at night, lots of ladies walking around.
Staff sucks
Updated hotel. Breakfast a bit poor at 8am. Hotel is fine but some of the staff is not feeling you welcome during check in. Short check in with no information about breakfast etc. ammenetiea were fine
Nice!
Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean, even smelled clean. The rooms are dated and in need of new bathrooms. The pool was dirty and no chairs to use. If just needing a room to sleep, this hotel serves that purpose. Again, staff was so nice and hotel was very clean.
