The pool was outstanding as were all the staff.

Cons:

There were no towels many afternoons and the pool area was not cleaned up. Towels were piled on lounge chairs & food & dishes were left on tables.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Having double king beds vs double queen beds is always a plus and the reason why we booked at LPH.

Cons:

The pool area was not tidy. Unfortunately, guests didn't take responsibility for cleaning up after themselves - eg. leaving towels, food and their trash. However, pool staff were not cleaning the pool area until we made the request to do so. This only happened during my sole visit to the pool so there could've been a shortage of staff that day.

The room (2 king beds) was very spacious.
The 2nd-floor open-our courtyard was very nice and that's where our family met for visiting.

Best hotel in the area
Pros:

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lafayette Park Hotel one the weekend. I stayed for one night, and my only negative feedback is I didn’t book more than one night.
All the staff I encountered from the initial call in to book, to the very last doorman after check out, were polite, helpful and cheerful. The overall vibe of the whole property is relaxed and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean.
I was very pleased with the ability to have the same menu poolside as you can get in the restaurant. The spa was welcoming and the massage therapist was skilled.
The restaurant on site was delicious and had a lot of different types of options.
This place was well worth every penny and we will absolutely be back again.

great experience
Pros:

The best luxury hotel near Walnut Creek. It a quaint looking property with large rooms and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on. The location is close to everything in Walnut Creek and the area is very safe. We will definitely be back

Pros:

We started here during our class reunion. The hotel has a great location. We ended up adding a night to enjoy more time with friends. The staff were very accommodating.

Cons:

The hotel was doing some renovations. Can’t wait to come back and see how it looks.
