Lafayette Park Hotel is elegant, decorated, beautifully, clean, comfortable and it has a restaurant on site. It’s close to downtown Lafayette.

Had a wonderful time but would like to feel like I am valued more as a paying customer. The service of the hotel was nice but they treated me like I was below them and the restaurant staff was very rude and rushed everything.

The Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa in Concord perfectly blends elegant French chateau architecture with exceptional, warm hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team set a welcoming tone with their genuinely attentive, helpful service, assisting seamlessly with everything from quick check-ins to local recommendations.
This outstanding care extends directly to the vibrant Park Bistro & Bar, where bartenders and staff create an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying evening drinks and relaxing after a long day. Beyond the stellar service, I was able to unwind at the peaceful bar area, making my stay a truly relaxing getaway after a full day of travel and meetings.

Just off the freeway with easy access to Oakland and the East Bay, the LPH has a boutique feel with warm staff and excellent service. The room was extremely spacious and clean and these days anything this nice around $300 is a pretty decent deal. Highly recommend.

Excellent location with easy on and off the freeway. We were also able to walk into town to enjoy dinner. The happy hour prices, very reasonable, the pool private and comfortable. The room was clean, quiet, up to date, and I appreciated having the refrigerator in our room.

This was my third stay. My last stay was in 2024. I arrived being extremely tired after little sleep and being very dehydrated. I’m 84 years old. This time I was told I had an upgrade on the 4th floor. I was leary about the 4th floor being an upgrade but was tired to push the oaths. I was told that the room was larger but seemed much smaller and without the comfy overstuffed chairs I’ve experienced previously. The room has a tall ceiling with a strange vault design and with a ridiculously large, if not huge, pendulum lamp suspended from the ceiling that is the shaped like one of those space capsules that lands in the Pacifuc. Because of the ceiling design, the van whips the cold air across the room. When I laid on the bed to rest at 5 pm, the bed was slightly vibrating so I assume there’s a clothes washer somewhere backing up to the same wall or something. At 6 pm I went to the Bistro dining room. A long wait after finishing my meal to see the desert menu and after finally getting one and again waiting for my server who seemed to be the only full time server, I gave up. Left my table, walked to the server and asked for my check as I’d been there a full hour and had no desire to wait any longer. He felt badly but I responded that it wasn’t his fault because the restaurant was obviously understaffed! Poor guy.
All I can say this was not a pleasant experience and not as expected or appreciated. I don’t know if I’ll stay there again. Even one bad experience can change minds.

The new mattresses are like clouds- and the hallways are peaceful! It was the best experience (we've stayed here 4-5 times) we've ever had at Lafayette Park Hotel. Also- the food at the restaurant is amazing! I love that you have good wine (Flowers pinot noir is a rarity to get by the glass, and the dining room has such a warm atmosphere. Employees are helpful and professional!

We booked the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa for its convenient location. But we'll return because of the welcoming staff, excellent service, comfortable room, and great food. These folks know hospitality!

The Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa was the location for my daughter’s Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception in May 2026.

It was an inspired choice for her wedding to her fiancé.

Every detail was executed perfectly.

The contract for the ceremony and wedding, the menu tasting, and all details received superior support from the Social Catering Manager, Rose Ventura and the hotel team, making the nine-month planning process straightforward. Rose’s expertise, professionalism, and sweet and calm presence during the planning phases and day-of ceremony for my daughter and her fiancé’s wedding in May 2026 is to be acknowledged.

The wedding ceremony was in the Fountain Courtyard, with the Wedding Reception, dinner and dancing for just over 100 guests was in the Independence Ballroom.

As Rose had assured us, the reception went very smoothly with the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa’s excellent serving staff.

I received SO many compliments about the food - the fabulous appetizers (guests couldn’t get enough of them!), and the delicious meals. Many of our family and friends commented on the fantastic Grilled Filet Mignon, cooked to perfection, pink on the inside and tender to cut! They wondered, “How did they manage that for so many guests?" They also greatly enjoyed the tasty Grilled Atlantic Salmon dish and were awed by the Eggplant & Ratatouille Lattice Tart vegetarian dinner.

The wine service and the bar added to the wonderful reception. The guests appreciated the drinks that were discreetly served throughout the cocktail hour and the evening. The Late-Night Snack of sliders and fries, were a delicious treat, too!

The food and beverage staff’s talented work was a major contributor to the success of the wedding reception.

All of our families and our friends were impressed with the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa’s execution.

We had MANY families and friends staying in rooms in the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa, and they were complimentary about the decor and amenities. The recently updated rooms that were reserved, along with the renovated hotel suite for the bride and groom, were universally acknowledged as spacious, bright, clean and modern, as well as very comfortable. As a special incentive, guests reserving hotel rooms and attending the wedding received a discount on the rooms!

I cannot recommend the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa highly enough as a Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception site. As the bride, my daughter, commented, “It was magical!”

Absolutely everything about our stay was magnificent. Since we arrived early we had appetizers and enjoyed happy hour in the bistro while waiting for our room. Once in our exquisite room we went out to enjoy the great hot tub where everything was clean and beautifully landscaped. We had planned on returning to the bistro for dinner, but once I laid down on the most comfortable bed ever, I just couldn’t get up. We slept well and had a delicious breakfast the next morning before we left for our destination. We will definitely will be returning to this hotel which has every convenience, attentive staff, and a luxurious atmosphere.

We greatly value the efficient, gracious customer service and the remarkable attention to detail evident at every stage of our stay. Having stayed at many fine hotels around the world, we can confidently say that none have been as delightful and welcoming as The Lafayette Park Hotel. The level of service and professionalism demonstrated throughout our visit was truly exemplary.

Great remodel ! The new guest rooms and amenities are all top notch. The rooms are large. The vibe was friendly luxury. The staff was ready to helo at every turn.

Easily located to Moraga. It was very clean and the room was spacious!
