Breakfast was booked in advance but on arrival we were told there would be no chef on Christmas morning therefore no breakfast. When I mentioned I had bed and breakfast throughout the stay, we were told there could be a continental breakfast served to our room on 25th. We agreed to this and went to get our bags from the car. On return to the hotel we were told by manager that he could provide us with a cooked breakfast on all days and what time would we like to eat? Obviously a miscommunication that was quickly resolved. Brilliant service

Cons:

Room was a little noisy from road traffic until about midnight, but nothing to keep us awake all night. The room was clean and well equipped but the hot water tap was a little hit and miss for turning on/off and the hot water took a very long time to run through “Hot”

Would recommend for business stay
Pros:

Staff professional and polite. Rooms clean and tidy, food a bit on the pricey side. But, all in all a good and enjoyable stay

Potentially dangerous - locked outside at 3am!!
Pros:

Checked in with no problems, but turns out that a key was missing from our room keys which left us locked outside at 3am. No staff on duty overnight to answer door or phone. We were left stranded outside in a dark, deserted town centre, unable to access the room and had to wake a friend who lives nearby and sleep on their couch. Not sure what we would have done if this was not an option. This could have been a very dangerous situation, but luckily we were were only left tired, angry and disappointed. Were promised a call-back from the manager but this has not happened. Pursuing full refund.

Would return if required accommodation in area again.
Pros:

Very central location. Quiet room. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Toilet flush was hard work.
Lack of hot chocolate on tea tray.
Pointless cushions on the bed - design feature only as buckle on cushion too lumpy to allow use as an actual cushion. Therefore had to just be discarded in a corner.

The room was in need of an update and it was extremely noisy. The beds were in need of replacement. Mattresses a bit saggy.

The hotel was as I expected so no complaints.
Pros:

Breakfast excellent. Shower very good. Dinner menu bit basic. Staff very helpful. Parking ideal.

Cons:

But traffic noisy but it is at a busy junction and Windows open for air. No lift at my advanced age is a problem perhaps good exercise though.

Great place to stay.
Pros:

The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful.,especially the girls in the restaurant.the breakfast was excellent and we had dinner two nights and it was excellent as well. The bar staff were excellent as well, thank you Stewart for your excellent service. Theroom was tidied every day to a high standard as well, thank you to the cleaning staff.I would recomend this hotel to anybody and hope to be back soon.

Nothing to dislike.

Clean, comfortable, great staff, some of the fixtures and fittings are tired and need a refresh.
Pros:

Staff were welcoming and friendly, the girls working breakfast were excellent and service was very swift. Breakfast was good quality and a decent portion size.

Cons:

Some features in the room were tired, lampshade between bed was damaged and peeling. The view from the room was poor looking onto a roof and air conditioning units which in the morning were quite noisy and produced cooking smells.

Pros:

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. But I didn’t like the front door being locked by 8.15pm and the outlook from our room (a wall, maybe a couple of metres from the window.)
