Travelodge by Wyndham Terre Haute

Was ok but had issues with rooms not having ac for more tham couple hours, wasnt cleaned to our liking as far as housekeeping goes, and pool hours werent as posted online or on signs at hotel.

Very nice rooms for the price everything was spotless and clean I can say one of the nicest motels I have stayed in for about two months and was half the price .. and all the staff was nice and respectful.. I would recommend this motel over the high dollar ones any day...

We were a group traveling together and stopped here to sleep because the pictures and star rating seemed adequate. It was clear upon arrival that the reality was very different from the pictures. My mom has been in 4 different third-world countries and has stayed in better accommodations in each one.

As we went to our room, we met a myriad of questionable sounds coming from the rooms like dogs barking (despite there being no pets allowed). Several colorful guests came out of their rooms with “greetings” that didn’t foster a safe and welcoming environment for sleeping. The rooms bore smells that resembled rotten dumplings mixed with blood, sweat, and tears. The beds, furniture, and bathrooms had a variety of stains and scratch marks on the walls and sheets. I don’t really want to know who or what created those. The TV in theory could provide a distraction if only it worked. Only one, random movie was available. We would try to use our own devices but there were very few outlets that worked. Either they didn’t have power at all or they had so much power that they made our devices hot to the touch. It also created an additional lovely ambiance when the lights began to flicker as a result of plugging something in.

Some members in our group chose to just sit on their suitcases all night since they were scared to go in their bed. Others had an outdoor room, making the “hotel” description a stretch. Long story short, it definitely wasn’t a hotel, and I probably wouldn’t even call it a motel. It’s in its own category. A Woe-tel. Or maybe a Heck No-tel. Please don’t stay here.

Rundown and Not the Best part of town

I do not want to wake up in the morning to go to my car and see people smoking marijuana by the stairs

This was the type of people who stayed here.

Breakfast was bare minimum. They don't even have sugar for your coffee

Carpet looked decades old

Beds were small although we slept okay. The traffic on the street was very loud

The parking lot was old and worn out

The fridge door didn't open properly

Decent price but it's not worth it

Easy access to room

nice room very nice staff fridge and microwave

The location was questionable. Room was decent, nothing special. Worried about the parked vehicle all night.
