The food comments above should not be viewed negatively . I am a chef and therefore quite fussy. It didn’t ruin our stay

The lay out
The renovation was excellent
Lovely decor
They had decaf selection
The flowers were beautiful
The pond and ducks and heron

Fab breakfast

Cons:

Food was a little disappointing
Chicken was well cooked and skin crispy but had dry roasties not dauphinois as advised
Lamb was overcooked for rump and a bit chewy . No rosemary mash had pavet instead which needs a waxier potato to keep its shape and not dry out

A real gem with amazing staff
Pros:

Great hotel and location. The staff deserve a mention as they were faultless. Friendly and could not do enough for you. Food was excellent and they even laid on tea and coffee in the morning as we were leaving earlier than the normal breakfast time. We were going to Goodwood and the location is 30 minutes away. Highly recommended and we will stay again.

Pleasant carrot full place to stay.
Pros:

The venue particularly sitting in the evening under the Willow tree, looking at the duck and duckllings in the pond.

Cons:

Food, whilst being quite acceptable could be a little better.

De kamer was schoon.

Cons:

Het was erg warm in de kamer.
Het diner viel tegen, foto's die je kan vinden op Google komen wat mij betreft niet overeen met wat geserveerd werd.
Ontbijt is ook erg eenvoudig.

Welcoming, charming & very comfortable
Pros:

Warm & welcoming staff, who were attentive despite hosting a wedding!
Quaint building with pretty gardens. The room was beautifully decorated and had a luxurious big bed.

Pros:

Food and location. Food was 100%

Cons:

Foul smell from toilet. Flush not working correctly and loud noise from shower at 8am! Have video evidence. Not even using shower at that point.
