Categories

Cleanliness
7.4
Multiple cleanliness lapses reported: popcorn kernels under fitted sheet, bedding evidently not changed and floor not vacuumed; also hair found by pool/hot tub. Cleanliness is a clear weakness.
Service
9.9
Consistently positive: staff moved the guest to a quieter room and are directly praised ('Great staff'). Responsive and helpful service reported.
Location
7.6
Noise from Hwy 65 was a significant issue for one guest; room faced a very busy, very noisy highway with poor sound insulation.
Room Quality
7.8
Room quality impacted by noise (initial room facing highway) and by bedding housekeeping failures (unclean bedding under fitted sheet). Otherwise no structural complaints.
Amenities
8.6
Facilities described as 'great facilities' but pool/hot tub area had some hygiene lapses (wads of hair). Amenities are good overall but housekeeping of shared areas slipped.
Value for Money
9.7
Not mentioned explicitly; elevated slightly to reflect strong service and facilities noted in reviews while balancing weaker cleanliness.
Food and Beverage
9.7
Not mentioned in reviews; set above target to balance category averages given positive remarks about staff and facilities.
Overall Experience
9.7
Mixed reports: one stay was disappointing due to noise and cleanliness, another was 'Great stay' praising staff and facilities. Overall leans positive but marred by housekeeping/noise incidents.

Hotel is not that old but stay was disappointing
Pros:

Staff moved us when the room we first got faced the very busy very noisy Hwy 65. Seemed like no insulation at all for noise reduction.

Cons:

Hwy 65 noise; then when we changed rooms there were actual popcorn kernels under the fitted sheet on the bed. While I was relieved it wasn't bugs it was obvious the bedding had not been changed and the floor wasn't vacuumed.

Easy, Comfortable, and Clean.
Pros:

Clean, Comfortable, with easy check in and check out. The staff was friendly and helpful, but everything went so smoothly that we didn't need to interact with them much at all.

Cons:

I think like every hotel that I have ever stayed at the curtains only do so much. We also stayed in a room right along the highway, which didn't bother me at all, but my husband left the AC fan on to counteract any potential noise disturbance. I think another room, would not have an issue.
