Friendly staff. Good location. Nice food and portion sizes.
Fab location in a beautiful village over looking the river
A small, but clean and well appointed room. Quiet hotel and very dog friendly.
Breakfast was an issue for us, had to remind the barman about our drinks - after 45 mins they finally arrived, and it took over an hour for any food to arrive. When it did, toast was missing and most of the items were cold. We’d waited so long by this point we gave up and checked out. A shame for what was otherwise a lovely stay.
Modern clean great room, bathroom was perfect. Very spacious room with everything you would need and more. Location is lovely. Staff were very polite and welcoming.
Everything was perfect only negative would be breakfast was abit delayed but was worth the wait.
Great location, very friendly staff, fantastic breakfast.
Being central in the village
Nothing
Wonderful room. Peaceful and quiet. Felt a little bit silly being there on my own since they had spared no expense making it a memorable room for couples. Fancy bath, shower room, his and her sinks (not sure which one I used) and a very comfortable bed. Dinner downstairs was excellent. Went for the specials which was a very easy choice.
Nothing
Such a great hotel in lovely location, The staff were fantastic and a credit to the place.
Nothing
COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND NICE.
WE BOOKED IT WITH BREAKFAST INCLUDED AND IT WAS AMAZING AS IT COSTS US VERY CHEAP AND WE HAD UNLIMITED CHOICES.
ALL GOOD EXCEPT THE FLOOR(WOOD?) STRUCTURE WHICH MADE A LOT OF NOISE WHEN THE UPSTAIRS GUESTS WERE WALKING, AND HAD 2 BIG DOGS RUNNINGS ALL OVER THE PLACE AROUND 2-3AM AND THEN AGAIN FROM 6-7AM, SO WE HAD NO SLEEP.
Bed was very comfy, views are amazing all round, room was clean and well renovated, free breakfast was ok and a 10% discount on bar purchases was good
The room had curtains allowing a lot of light in when not wanted, sink in the bathroom is tiny and leads to water going everywhere, food wasn’t the best for the price and staff generally didn’t feel to welcoming, we felt a little disliked in all honesty by some staff. I generally avoided interactions with staff because of this.
This isn’t particular to the hotel, however there is very little amount of shops nearby, so would stock up before staying in the area as we had to drive 30 minutes to shops. Not to fault of the hotel however
