Great stay on our cycling tour. Perfect place to relax after a day on the bike.

Nice but not without issue.
Pros:

Stayed in the larger pod suite, outside and away from the main hotel.

When we got to the door we were amazed by how cosy it was and the wonderful scenery to pair with it. The cabin was cute and boasted a hot tub and sauna which is a real treat.

There was complimentary hot chocolate (hotel chocolate with all the trimmings), coffee pods, and chocolates on the pillows.

Dressing gown and slippers hung up ready for use and all of the standard amenities you expect, my partner was surprised that even hair straiteners were available.

Cons:

I wasn’t going to leave a review and let it slide but I’ve had persistent requests spamming me both direct and from booking.com and feel I need to be honest when writing one.

The suite is really expensive, maybe a bit more than what it’s actually worth, we paid £340 for one night. Off peak time mind you, so likely it’s cheapest point. It’s nice but I’m not sure it’s that nice.

The suite we stayed in had a problem with ants, when we arrived there were a couple on the kitchen counter, my partner then realised there were several more roaming the floor near the bed, we removed them but it wasn’t long before there were more. Aside from it being bothersome, the uneasy feeling that ants might get into the bed when you’re asleep really taints your experience.

I reported the ant issue to Emma, who responded with a simple sorry, ‘we thought we fixed that issue’, and nothing else. No offer to take a look, extra levels of reassurance or even a discount on the booking, but I didn’t want it to put a dampener on our trip away so tried to ignore it.

We visited the restaurant on the evening and where the food was generally good, it is exceptionally expensive for what it is (2 meals with tap water was £60). The portion sizes weren’t great. Because the property is so remote you almost feel a stranglehold that you have to succumb to and dine there. One really disappointing aspect of my evening meal was the chips that came with the fish and chips, I could swear they were McCans oven chips, they weren’t properly booked and just poor quality, for the price I expected more. My partner said the venison was nice, all 3 bites of it.

Nice relaxing break with hot tub and views.
Pros:

Breakfast and evening meals were very good. Location is excellent, very scenic, and lots of nice walks and places to visit nearby, such as Castle Tioram. Good middle ground for those also visiting Skye.

Allt var superfint, mitt på landet och väldigt vackert. Maten var verkligen vällagad, fint upplägg och riktigt god. Personlig och fint bemötande och perfekt service. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta.
