I had an excellent night at this hotel. The staff members were very friendly and welcoming, from the receptionist to the restaurant team. The juice was refreshing and tasted great.
I ate at the buffet, which had a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I truly enjoyed my night and had a wonderful experience overall. The property was clean, beautiful, and well maintained. I would definitely visit again!

I had a wonderful experience during my visit. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the workers were very helpful and provided excellent customer service throughout the evening. Everything was good, and I felt comfortable. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend others to visit as well.
I must say that the S Hotel certainly lived up to my expectations! Exceptional service especially at the front desk where Navine provided a detailed explanation as it relates to the services offered. Dontae who cooked up a scrumptious pasta meal! Orville my server was exceptional. I would highly recommend.
The hotel is very good. However it lacks the amenities . You have to ask for everything. Good thing is every room is ocean front. Beautiful views. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Disappointed with the drinks.
My visit at the S Hotel Montego bay was from start to finish. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, the lobby was decorated beautifully very cozy and clean! The rooftop view of the ocean was breathtaking but my favorite part of my trip was the food. Food was well seasoned and fresh, there were a variety of food to choose from and the servers were attentive and friendly.

Fact we had to wait 3/4 hours for our suitcases. We ended up collecting them ourself from reception. The hotel manager did compensate us with a 30 min back massage
The food at the S hotel was by far the best all-inclusive hotel food we have had. All three restaurants and the buffet did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beach was clean and beautiful!
I loved the room I stayed in—the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were some of the kindest and warmest people I’ve ever met; it truly felt like staying with family. The food was consistently amazing, with plenty of variety every day. Next time I’m in Montego Bay, I’ll definitely be back!

Others' reviews (not all) were pretty accurate. Called about a week before arriving to arrange the Italian restaurant reservation. Was told I couldn't because the schedule wasn't out yet. At their request, I left my contact info and figured no reservation would happen (because I didn't think I'd hear back) and we'd be on our own. Surprisingly, a few days later someone called me and I made reservations for the restaurant for two nights.
Check-in was smooth, but the room wasn't avail at 1400 when we got there. We came back around 1530 and the room was ready. Room was nice! We had 254 which was a beach/ocean view room. No issues with the room. My biggest concern (based on some reviews here) was the lack of AC. I can say we froze ourselves if we wanted to. AC was awesome. We hung the DO NOT DISTURB sign for our entire stay. I picked off additional towels / other items as I saw housekeeping nearby.
So hanging out on the beach is super easy. Someone will arrange your lounger/shade for you. He will bring a long towel too for your lounger that allows you to lay on it. No need to arrive early for this. The beach towel hut right before the beach access is a bit silly. They keep track of your "beach towels" but it's nothing more than a bath towel. At least it was to me. You can swap your towel out as often as you want. You have to turn in your "towel card" at then end of your stay or it's an additional charge. Maybe $20.
Beach area for hotel guests is ample. But most of this short beach (maybe 300 yards or so) is a public beach. First few days were quiet on that beach, but the next few days were pretty loud (mainly because of kids on the public beach) due to cruise ships in Montego Bay's port.
Only ate at the Italian Restaurant (3x) and the Jamaican. Both were very good. We heard the Seafood restaurant was OK. Live piano player there was a nice touch (we heard).

Very few activities and as such I wouldn't bring kids here. We are used to Iberostar properties where those employees are constantly drafting you to join the next activity. This place is nothing like that. It's very laid back. There is the occasional pool bingo, or pool trivia. But because I read reviews, this was no surprise.
At check-in, you get a full briefing on stuff. One of which is "premium drinks" have an additional charge. We noticed wine in the Italian restaurant had a cost. But I sipped on Grey Goose and Tito's with no issue at the pool bar.
The really stupid part of check-in briefing meant to screw you: if you lose your wrist band (which is your room key), it's a $50 charge. There is absolutely no way this band costs more than $2.00. So don't lose it.
Ron (sp?) and Cordell at the bars. These guys are really good at what they do. Not just making the drinks, but interacting with others. Really good at what they do.
I forgot to mention...when you arrive MBJ airport....after clearing the last part of customs, look for desk 18. It is in the arrival hall. There are large numbers, and you can't miss it. The person there will arrange a $15 shuttle ride for you.
Both directions from the airport -- around 7 to 8 minutes.

I went to the one in Montego Bay bottom road. The atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. The food was amazing as always. There wasnt really noise, more like calming background sounds so noise level was low. The service was amazing, a lot of staff said happy birthday to me. I really love the band, it reminds us which land we are standing on with the Jamaican music.
During hurricane Melissa, they went above and beyond. Provided us with food, reliable internet and most importantly a safe environment. The staff were supportive and truly cared. I’m very grateful
This was my first time staying at S Hotel, & I would most certainly recommend it to others. It's easy to find regardless of which end of the island you're coming from. The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. Our room was easy to find; it was very clean & spacious & had everything that we needed. I also love the layout of the room, & everything worked and was functional in the room. We had the most beautiful views from our balcony. The staff was very polite and accommodating, & greeted you as soon as you entered. Marlon, the manager gets an honorable mention, as he ensured that we were taken of right throughout our time staying there & until we were checking out. He was very mannerable & knew pretty much everything about the hotel, & guided us properly so that our stay could be comfortable, and it was..
