Wonderful town, must see, so pretty. No need to pay more.
Pros:

Room, view, staff, Erika is a gem, never let here go Mr owner!!
Swimming pool. Low flying aircraft were good to see and they dont fly out of hours.
Near sea front so used it as a base. good location, It was so good we stayed an extra night, Monterey was our favourite place this trip, LA and San Fran.
We saw Squirrels, Deer in a Cemetery, Seals.

Cons:

Breakfast is Coffee and Grenola bars, but, its 1 of the cheapest and best places we stayed, 15 hotels this trip and there are many local eateries near (attached to 1) so as long as you are informed all is ok.

Front office worker was friendly and welcoming

Cons:

Hotel room had a strong smell of chemicals. We slept balcony door open. Towels were not clean.

Excelente localização, equipe muito atenciosa e um mimo matinal com café e barrinhas de cereal.
Pros:

A localização do hotel é excelente e um dos seus maiores pontos fortes. Ele fica muito próximo das principais atrações de Monterey, permitindo explorar a cidade com facilidade. Além disso, está a cerca de 15 minutos de carro de Carmel-by-the-Sea, Point Lobos State Natural Reserve e da famosa 17-Mile Drive, o que torna a hospedagem uma excelente base para conhecer toda a região.
A equipe foi extremamente atenciosa, simpática e prestativa durante toda a estadia, sempre nos atendendo com cordialidade.
Embora o hotel não ofereça café da manhã completo, eles disponibilizam café e barrinhas de cereal gratuitamente todas as manhãs para os hóspedes. Achamos esse cuidado muito positivo, principalmente para quem deseja sair cedo para passear, pois é uma opção prática para começar o dia antes de seguir viagem. Foi um diferencial simples, mas muito bem-vindo.

Nice motel
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We overlooked the pool which was very pleasant. Pool heated to just the right temperature.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have something other than apples and granola bars offered for breakfast. The location is a little bit out of the way. You definitely need a car if staying here.
