Great View of Harbor (by choice)
Pros:

Location - excellent for harbor views, traffic.
Atmosphere - hotel was quiet for the most part. Lobby is updated and well-kept. Elevators worked well.
Rooms - Rm. 525 - outdated. Room was clean, however, there was a smell (like dog poop) in the carpet in between the beds. Mattress over-used and very uncomfortable. Noisy air conditioner - rattling noise, woke us up when it came on. Vent over shower packed with dust. Leak from ceiling over bathtub/shower. Chairs on balcony had large holes and tears in the material, however, reported. One chair was replaced and pads added to the other one.
Value - Room value comparable to other hotels in the area, parking is $35 (less than downtown hotels).
Service - Room was clean except for carpet. Check-in was seamless, staff was not particularly friendly, however, were attentive and responsive.
Amenities - limited menu choices in restaurant.

Above and beyond service
Pros:

Over the past couple of nights, our AC unit cycled on and off frequently, keeping us awake. We wanted the fan running continuously for white noise, but it automatically switched back to “auto” mode without input. The noise forced us to turn the AC off each night.
We explained the situation to Scott the maintenance worker, noting that many hotels allow continuous fan operation. He courteously explained the motion sensor issue and promised to research solutions.
A couple of hours later, he left a box fan in our room. This thoughtful solution provided the steady white noise we needed without AC noise.
He was exceptionally courteous and professional. His quick initiative made our final night the most comfortable of the trip. Thank you for the outstanding service—job well done!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay with beautiful ocean views, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphe
Pros:

The ocean view from the window was beautiful and could be enjoyed even while lying in bed. My child also had a relaxing time swimming in the pool.

Cons:

The pool was enjoyable overall, though I noticed some small particles floating in the water when looking through goggles. I understand this is common in swimming pools, but it was still worth mentioning. chairs looked a little worn and could benefit from an update.

This fell far below the level of cleanliness I expect from Hilton properties.

Cons:

The staff's attitude and attentiveness were lacking during my stay. At a rate of $680 per night for a two-queen-bed Marina-view room, I was disappointed to find that a microwave oven was not provided; it had to be rented separately for an additional $10 per night. Additionally, the bathtub was not clean — it appeared as though it hadn’t been properly sanitized before our arrival, as there were some pubic hairs in it. Also, the toiletries were not available; I had to request them because the built-in dispensers were empty.

When first checked in they told me i could up-grade my room for 50.00 Why? The guy who was incharge of the two checking people in, told me well you get what you pay for!!! I paid 600. plus. when we get to the room there was no view except for a roof top,which had two ac's on it and heard that all night long!!!!!!!!! This is all BS next time we'll stay down the street. WE stayed there last time and no problems why this time. i wish i new that guys name so you could ask him why he said what he said

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Pros:

Guest can not rent a car through Turo while staying at Hilton hotels. Got yelled at by all workers by dropping off a car. Would not recommend booking if you’re needing to rent a car.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a tour. Hotel was lovely, a bit of a maze to find anything though. Room was spacious and had a harbour. Tea/coffee making facilities, safe and a fridge were available for use.

Hotel isn't near downtown San Diego and is right by the airport, but you aren't overly bothered by the landings and take off. Lovely harbour area to walk around and food i the hotel was nice.
