Breakfast ends 09 … so you need to hurry up :D It’s not an issue, but you cannot be a long sleeper if you want to carch breakfast 🍳

Breakfast was very good and the location was great. Since I traveled by train and bus this hotel was very close to walk to.
The location is close to the city centre while being a bit quieter than the centre. The building has a retro charm. The brownies are a nice treat as is the tea.
The building across the street from the hotel had roofing work that started at 7am. It's not the hotel's fault and it's quite loud to hear stone roofing tiles be smashed and then thrown four storeys down a pipe to a pile on the ground. The staff travels around the ground floor at high speed and it didn't promote a relaxed feeling that a traveler would desire. The bed frame we had was quite old and groaned when you sat on it.
The staff are unbelievably kind and helpful, providing plentiful recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. You feel really taken care of here and entirely at home. The inclusive breakfast was so special too—every detail of this hotel has been executed with thoughtfulness and intention!

Trattandosi di un palazzo storico non c'e' ascensore ed avere la stanza al terzo piano puo' essere un po' impegnativo. Arrivare a piedi implica una ripida salita non agevole per tutti. Le camere ed il bagno hanno dimensioni contenute.
In our opinion this was a satisfactory bed and breakfast establishment only.
The room was very small and sparsely furnished. Some hangers but nowhere to put other clothing. We ended up using the dressing table/ desk top to place clothes. Floor in bedrooms is modern laminate with no rugs or mats as a result you heard all footsteps across the room above you.
Bathroom is tiny—-1 in 1 out. Shower door difficult to seal so water leaks out onto already very small floor space.
Only jar of instant coffee in room with a small selection of tea bags. Old style fridge which hummed intermittently through the night.
Breakfast was ok but monotonous if you are here for a few days. Only hot option was scrambled egg which never works when ‘batch cooked’ and left to stand for hours on a hot plate.
Our upgraded room (upgrade offered free of charge) was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is very good in the sense that it is away from the tourists and close to nice local restaurants, although the last couple of blocks walking from the train station have a fairly steep uphill climb, which we treated as an opportunity to do some physical exercise, but some guest may have trouble dragging their luggage uphill. The breakfast offered a balanced meal with lots of choices for meats and fishes, vegetables, fruits and grains. The staff was courteous and always willing to help. A particularly helpful amenity for the room was the washing machine with drying function. We had a great experience.
The internet broken the morning after we arrived, and it took a few hours to get it back.
