It was great for the price. Our room and bathroom were clean. Very close to tailgate field. Short Uber drive. We felt safe.
Dirty
Room was ok nothing special but felt unsafe not due to staff or property was myself
Older design low amenities
I had made reservations throughs Hotels.com. Red Roof inn did not honor my reservations. There were at least 4 other people that had the same issue. The staff did not try to work with me. I will not make reservations with Hotels.com or with Red Roof inn
I knew it wouldn’t be perfect. My room had a terrible door system. You have to time it almost perfectly to open. Most hotel doors will read the key and then give you a second to open. This door was like instant. If you didn’t open it as soon as it read the card you were not getting in. Not a safe door if you need to enter quickly. Also the safety latch inside was broken. Then the walls were not painted. You can see they did a plumbing job and just didn’t finish with painting. Finally the roaches!!! Ugh. I mean at least invest in pest control. The door didn’t seal so I know they just have their way in and out. We needed to bring our dogs that weren’t small so this was the only place that would take them. The staff was helpful for sure but this place needed a lot of attention.
If I could give this place a negative star I would. All kind of bugs, no shower curtain toilet and tub look like they were never cleaned since installation.
This was the worst place we have ever stayed in. The key would NOT work, it took them 3 days to correct this. No maid service unless you asked for it, overpriced and some tenants were smoking dope everytime you had to go outside your room it reeked. No chair to sit in, no coffee maker, nothing was as described when I booked this place. This was not a pleasure trip. We had a Family member in the hospital that passed away on the 2nd day we were there. This place needs new management quickly and somebody that knows what they are doing. The young maintenance guy, Brandon was all we got, was top notch at his job. He kept us in towels, tissue and got the key lock fixed after the front manager told him about it on the third morning. He was Nice, Professional and Very Courteous to us. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. This young man needs a raise for all he does. We saw him several mornings at 7:30 am working and still working at 10 and 11 at night.
Don’t know, I booked and paid for may stay a month ago through Hotels.com and when I went to check in the hotel did not have any record of my reservation. Tried calling Hotels.com to clear it up and all I could get is a damn computer that would only resend my confirmation email but the hotel had no record of it.
They called us and cancelled our room after having a reservation booked to visit my son at college for 5 months in advance. With no apologies.
Rooms are filthy. Vagrants all over the establishment.
Housekeeping could have a bit quicker.
The property was old and out dated
The employees were really nice especially the man at the desk. The photos on Expedia do not match what the rooms look like. We couldn’t stay there because there was a roach as soon as we walked in. The air conditioner broken. There was just stained sheets with no comforter to sleep with. A lot of the buttons on the phone were missing. It seems like the owner just doesn’t have the funds to keep it up to date. I recommend the stay but not the place. The gentleman at the desk was polite and did give me a refund for the room.
Room was clean and comfy. Water was never quite hot enough.
This property was not as shown in the picture. ALL rooms smelt like smoke. Druggies were hanging out everywhere outside the building in the parking lot. The lobby looked like it had never been cleaned. There are no blankets on beds. The floors looked like a dog had ripped them up. Horrible hotel. I will not ever stay at RED ROOF again or use EXPEDIA.
Awful. Room a complete mess. Headboard half way hanging on wall. Bugs, tub stained, and they refused to refund my money.
Quite and good dining options nearby. Bathroom lock not working but they immediately changed the room.
Room was poorly maintained and in disrepair. Holes in the wall. Doors and walls were peeling and scuffed. No soap, tissues, extra toilet paper, or hangers. Towels were dirty with stains. Beds had one sheet and thin blanket, one bed only had a sheet. Sink did not have a drain cover. Curly hair found on toilet seat cover.
The trip started off entering a dark parking area. Nobody was at the front desk and the entry doors were glass and hadn’t been cleaned probably ever. Once I was in it was smooth but my wife was approached by several “disheveled folks” looking for money while in the car. I asked about the 15-minute cancellation policy that was posted and if anyone used it. She said “oh yes many times this week “. I got my keys and went to check the room. It smelled terrible, and I shot a video to use if this “no refund “ room was going to be a problem. The bed had a white comforter with significant stains, the furniture looked like it was rejected from Goodwill, and the smoke detector was making the beep from a low battery and actually was covered in a plastic bag so people could obviously smoke.
