Nice hotel but not great

The hotel is very nice with good facilities

Cons:

The service provided lasts what you would expect from a hotel of this level. The room is very dark, a serious lack of lighting, no idea why. Had to shave with a torch.

Comfortable however needs refinement
Pros:

Beds comfortable. It took us a while to figure out the subways but they were good when we did….some advance comms on this would have been welcome. The 1980 bar was the best.

Cons:

The wine bar on level 2 (eau de vin???) had no atmosphere and was very limited wine list for a wine bar. The food menu was same as downstairs - probably less. We could not work out Nadaman - very unclear on what the options were there…tried to eat at Crossroads but buffet only was available….ended up at 1980 once again. The hotel could really improve this scenario. Also we lugged our bags overland on arrival from Shinjuku station and no one told us there was a shuttle bus. That would have been a godsend after a long flight then train journeys from the airport.

Service & food not up to mark.
Pros:

Check in service was slow,staff took like 45min for a check in. Dinner at crossroad restaurant was bad, food is not nice and not hot, hence is not worth the money.

Perfect base for a week in Tokyo
Pros:

Really enjoyed everything about my stay at Hyatt Regency! The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and provided a great base for 1 week in Tokyo. It was in a quieter part of Shinjuku, about 10 min walk from the station but I didn’t mind that at all given how busy and intense the main part of town was. It was super easy to get around too given the Tochomae station was right underneath the hotel. There’s also a shuttle bus that goes from Shinjuku station to the hotel. Highly recommend!

Great staff and location for exploring Tokyo
Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful and it was a great location. Ten minute walk to Shinjuku station and beautiful park next door.

Cons:

Hotel is a little dated so the rooms certain interiors weren’t quite as new.

quarto e hotel incrível.
Pros:

do hotel em si, grande quarto se comparado padrões do japão. Porém não ficaria nessa região se foco passeio por Tokyo.

Cons:

não ficaria na região de shinjuku. talvez shibuya ou Ginza.
