Could be a very nice hotel if they cleaned it better
Pros:

Perfect location. Very nice lobby and staff

Cons:

Room was dirty. Trash was left in bathroom and on couch. Candy wrappers and medicine wrappers. And there was hair in the bathtub

A lovely setting in a spacious hotel, I was satisfied with my choice of Ethan Allen.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Plenty of pillows, there were 3 or 4.

Cons:

The TV set was slow to respond to remote control. No list of TV stations available was provided in room.
Bathroom lighting was much too bright. Shower water was way too hot; I did ask about this at front desk.
The temperature was lowered to normal, next day.

Hotel promised a beautiful stay, when it had stained doors and carpets. Could not check in until 5pm
Pros:

Reception area was nice, personnel were ok.

Cons:

Carpets were gross, dirty and stained. Our door had a crack between the door hinge and the door. We could see the hallway and had to put pillows over it. The elevator was broken, bathroom tub was dirty, and the spout was coming away from the tub.

So so experienced
Cons:

No one was at the front desk when we arrived. There was another guest waiting as well. A good 10 minutes went by. The staff was not friendly, didn't greet us, and had quite the attitude. Although our room was very close by the desk by one flight she sent us around the long way. So we walked around the whole hotel with our bags before we came to our room. Her attitude and her lack of concern for us was unacceptable.

Sleepless in Seattle
Pros:

The lobby area makes a very nice first impression; unfortunately, the rooms are old, dingy, smelly, and disgusting.

The headboard in my room was torn, and I switched rooms twice, but each room smelled the same, like old cigarette smoke and body odor. When I got home, the smell had even transferred to my clothes. The receptionist eventually told me she would not move me again. She also did not have a room map available so I could see the room’s location, and she placed me next to an adjoining room despite my traveling alone as a woman.

The door lock was a flimsy, outdated metal chain. I had to place the luggage cart against the door with my luggage on it for additional protection. If it had not been so late and if I had not already processed my payment through http://Booking.com I would have left and gone to another hotel.

I also found it extremely concerning and alarming of your clientele that, after I paid and was assigned a room, I was told the hotel would charge a $100 deposit for incidentals or any items allegedly stolen from the room. I was then told the deposit would not be refunded for 3 to 15 days. I have never stayed at a hotel that charged such a deposit in advance and delayed the refund for that long.

I did not sleep at all that night. The television was so outdated that it did not support Netflix or any other streaming apps.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. In the future, I will not let a nice lobby be my first impression.

Old, loud, shabby facility - rate is double what this level of accommodation should command.
Pros:

The facilities person came out to try and fix the tv. I believe he truly tried, but TV was broken. Person in breakfast area helped me find coffee after i've searched for 10 minutes - all carafes had been emptied earlier and no coffee was to be found.

Cons:

Where to start? Rude, inattentive staff at check-in (traveling with an almost 91 year old I politely asked for a quiet room if possible). The answer was - without looking up - "you'll get what you booked, you need to pay attention when you book." I was not asking for anything above what I had booked - simply inquiring if there WAS a room on a quieter side. Not insisting. Two (!) huge pieces on chewed gum on the edge of the tub. I have photos. Fridge did not work. TV only had one channel which also flickered. There were spots on the towels. My pillowcase smelled of dirty hair and generally unwashed laundry. Disgusting.

The location was convenient off the highway.

Cons:

The front desk was very disorganized, rude and overall seemed like they were bothered by anyone including myself. After check-in my family and I walked to our room and saw a staff member outside smoking marijuana. The entire hallway smelled like marijuana and strong air freshener to cover up mildew. Once inside our room we saw a stained couch, dirty carpet, a mildew smell in the air and black mold on the AC unit. When I called the front desk I was told they had no other rooms, with two weddings and a hockey team staying as well. Then I was offered a handicap room or another room like mine but still stained and smelled. So I accepted the handicap room. There were no extra pillows for the pull out couch and it took some time to finally get some delivered to my room after asking three different times. The shower kept clogging when in use. The carpets still stained places. The bed was very wobbly and uncomfortable. It was not worth the $200 I spent for the night.
