Never again would i stay herr with all this plastic in ise

The property is located about 3-4 mikes drive from the airport; it cost $ 17 for a taxi from the airport.

Cons:

The building is dated and not in good shape. Everything looks old and tired, the furniture is worn and scuffed, the carpet in the room was patched up with other bits of carpet, everything feels grubby.

I asked for a quiet room because I desperately needed to sleep following a long trans-Atlantic flight, and the lady at the recliner put me next to the stairwell thT had a heavy door that was banging so loudly every time someone used it that I almost fell out of bed from the noise, repeatedly from about 4:30 am. Absolutely terrible

At breakfast there was only Single use plastic for plates, cups, glasses, cutlery - basically an environmental crime scene, and totally disgusting to eat from

It was clean

Cons:

Got sent to wrong room and floor,someone in room. Booked to double beds go which to a king and a sofa with no linens for the sofa, so tired did not want to go to front desk second time,so grandson had to share bed with me,also it doesn't do anyone any good to write these reviews because all anybody ever gets back is thanks for your review, that doesn't help my bad stay are the money I spent

Excellent Hotel!
Pros:

Wingate by Wyndham was a clean hotel with a delicious breakfast and comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly, too. We also liked the location.

We would stay again.
Pros:

Very clean, comfortable bed, variety of pillows, good breakfast options, quiet enough for me, but we stayed on the 1st floor near the front desk so we heard people going by may want to keep that in mind. We would stay again.

Attended a family wedding.
Pros:

Excellent stay. Our room was clean and fresh. Beds very comfortable. Large selection for breakfast. Everything prepared well. Spacious dining area. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

VERY RUDE STAFF
Pros:

I would like to be very CLEAR the conduct at this location is beyond unacceptable. I booked the reservation in advance so situations will not arise. I received confirmation the day before of room number 227 in which I sent a message in advance that we will be traveling and will get to the hotel later that night. He arrived at 11:30 pm which I assumed was the night auditor working the front desk.  Upon arrival my husband was given a key to room 227 which did not work in the door so he went back to the front desk and explained the key is not working. The front desk agent gave him a different key to try and he went back to the room to try the key again. So she finally checked and realized that the room was occupied. This is a SAFETY CONCERN for a guest to be given a key to an occupied room. So let's move on to room 211 which I'm pretty sure was marked as a "DOWN" room due to the TOILET DOES NOT FLUSH! My husband in the morning went to the front desk and spoke with Kareem to explain what happened in the room and he said, "Do you need someone to look at the toilet?" This is beyond RIDICULOUS to ask a guest if they needed maintenance. My husband called me as a last resort to handle the situation. I called Kareem and he really doesn't like his job cause when I asked for the manager he stated Stephanie is off and will not be available until Monday. So I asked when the situation arises and a guest asked for a manager who is in charge. He says well no one is here and call on Monday.  After I said this is unexpectable he said well you can "CHECK OUT.'  Well, I told him this really is not an option when there's not a lot of availability due to an event being held in Charleston. He told me BYE and hung up. I'm disappointed in the experience. 
I will be checking out and expect a FULL REFUND OF MY POINTS!

Excellent customer service
Pros:

The ladies that work front desk and night were excellent!!! They were friendly and funny!! I will be back again ! The location is next to everything …. Food ,shopping etc
