Friendly daytime staff, but bad night service

The staff working during the day were very welcoming.

Cons:

I had a very bad experience at the hotel.
We stayed at the hotel and went to a party in the evening. Before leaving, we informed the reception staff that we would return around 2 a.m.
When we arrived back at the hotel, the main door was locked. We rang the bell and waited for more than 30 minutes, but nobody answered.
Eventually, after more than 30 minutes, someone finally came to open the door, and it was obvious from his face that he had been sleeping.

Not a good night’s sleep
Pros:

Very close to bus stop. Clean room and bathroom

Cons:

Loud AC unit which didn’t work very well as it was still very warm in the room with the AC on. Couldn’t sleep well due to noisy AC. Also bed and bedding were not very comfortable.

Ideal for LCY
Pros:

The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. The best feature is its proximity to London City Airport: about a 5 minute walk. That makes it ideal if you have a morning flight and you don't want to risk getting stuck in traffic and missing your flight.
