Great location for Silverworks Docks - only a 10-15 minute walk. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with a good selection of tea and coffee available. Staff were very helpful
Das kleine Hotel ist nur vier Minuten zu Fuß vom Flughafen LCY entfernt. Direkt vor der Tür ist eine Bushaltestelle der Linien 473 und 474. Die Zimmer sind klimatisiert und sehr sauber - sogar die Fernbedienung für den Fernseher ist in einem hygenischen Etui. Im Eingangsbereich ist auch das Restaurant mit Bar. Dieser Bereich ist nicht klimatisiert, aber ich war an Tagen mit Rekordtemperaturen da - ein Ausnahmezustand. Dahinter ist ein winziger Garten, in dem man sitzen und klönen kann. Die Bahnstrecke Elizabeth Line läuft zwar direkt vor den Fenstern, aber die Züge erzeugen keinen wahrnehmbaren Lärm. Man sollte im klaren sein, dass das Hotel zwischen Flughafen und Zuckerfabrik liegt und sich daher nicht über die Aussicht beschweren. Dafür kann ich es wegen der besonderen verkehrsgünstigen Lage, der Sauberkeit und des freundlichen Personals absolut empfehlen.
An heißen Tagen wäre es schön, wenn der Aufenthaltsraum gekühlt wäre; aber es ist London - wie oft gibt es solche heiße Tage?

Very close to London city airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and very quiet
I did not end up staying at this property due to highly unusual and unreasonable deposit policies at check-in. Upon arrival, the reception desk asked me to physically leave my credit card with them as a deposit, which is a major security risk. When I refused, they offered a £100 cash deposit instead, which I accepted. They then stated they would not return my cash at check-out, but would instead transfer it to my bank account later. When I asked why I could not get my cash back for a simple one-night stay, they just claimed it was "hotel policy Because of this policy, they actively asked me to provide my sensitive bank details just to get my own cash deposit back, which felt completely unsafe.
And of course they didn’t refund my night.
The hotel room was very clean with a powerful AC and impeccable bathroom. The staff were friendly and the location is ideal.
The TV was not working properly, I was able to watch some but then it just turned itself off and the remote froze. I didn’t raise this with the staff as I was going to bed anyways.
