Travelodge by Wyndham Houston Cy-Fair

Room was gross, toilet stained bathtub was painted and peeling, and red paint or soemthing was splattered all over the sink

It was just past 10am this morning when we were getting ready to shower for check out when the housekeeper knocked on the door. Please keep in mind, the bolt was locked and the privacy latch was also on as the door had not been opened from last night.
She kept saying "housekeeping", I then answered through the door with "yes, almost ready". As I was walking to the door undressed (as I was in the middle of getting in the shower), the housekeeper unlocked my hotel room ( #339), she pushed it open undoing the safety lock! Good thing I made it to the door in time to stop her! I told her I'd already answered her that there was no reason for her to open the door to which she proceeded to ask me if I was checking out today to which I informed her checkout was at 11am. She was rude and dismissive. It was highly inappropriate for her to just open the door like that. I was in clear communication with her when she announced herself at the door. So there was no room for to misinterpret that the room was vacant.
I have stayed at my share of low end and high end hotels throughout my life and I have NEVER had a door opened for ANY reason. I will be taking this complaint up with the corporate office since I know this property is an independent franchise of Wyndham hotel.

Its astounding Wyndahm would associate itself with such low quality hotel. the low quality room feel, with shedding paint, broken floors, stained blankets, and lack fo Wyndahm feel is atypical of a Wyndahm brand. The excessive loitering and apparent illegal activity does not create an environment of trust and safety.
Overall, extremely disappointed that Wyndahm endoeses such low quality.

Roaches no towels and smell like cigarettes even tho it was a non smoking room

i didn’t like it at all, the lights didn’t work, tv didn’t work. roof was leaking. the bed had bed bugs definitely nasty.

Losten to me PLEASE! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!! Wvwn iii hotbit thinking “Wh..i know its cheap i just want something quick for 2 nights until im back out of the city” NOOO!!! I would rather sleep in a rental! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The rooms are DISGUSTING!!!!! I mean DISGUSTING!!! ROACHES! GALORE!!!! That you cannot get rid of!! I bout THREE BOTTLES OF RAID. Used ALL 3!!! STILL was hundreds if roaches! Because nxt door and the PROPERTY IS INFESTED!! Doety sheets in supposedly clwan rooms. And when i say DIRTY i mean…big black show stains!! Towels sheets pillows smell like BACON GREASE!!! Wverything is BEYOND DIRTY!!!! Cant even take a shower. Couldnt even SLEEP! Tried nyquil and was fightong that because of the roaches!!! It it smeaswd up ppl here. They WILL ROB YOU if they have the chance. Crackheads sleeping OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR! Homeless ppl latibg on the stairs taking bird baths. Bad kids running around lnocking on tour door. It is hoooooooorrrible! If you wondering if its worth ot to spend 10 or 20 bucks more on a stay IT IS WORTH IT if this is your only option!! DONT GOOOO! Forgot to take picturs damn BUT TRUUUST ME!!!

Overall, the day was very good however, on the first day, I was placed in a room in the middle section of the hotel and there is absolutely no Internet service in that area so I missed a day of work. I did notify the front desk immediately that this was an issue, however I had to wait until the very next day to be moved to a room where I would be able to gain Internet access and be able to complete my task for work so my suggestion would be if you stay at this hotel stay at the first half of the hotel or the last half of the hotel, but make sure you’re not to be in the middle if you need Internet.

The roaches were so bad we had to leave. Could smell drugs outside bad. Very loud.

Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious
