Traumhaft gelegenes und geschmackvolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, direkt am Alpsee. Das Zimmer im Jägerhaus sehr großzügig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Hotel sehr geschmackvoll mit einem schönem Speise- und Frühstückssaal. Die Bar sehr stylisch, mit außergewöhnlicher Getränkeauswahl. Schöner Wellnessbereich, Liegewiese mit Blick auf den See.

Cons:

Die Hauptspeise im Liesl Restaurant war sehr gut aber minimal, man wurde nicht satt, außer man nahm die Vorspeise vom Buffet mit dazu.
Auswahl der Karte etwas gering. Sehr wenig vegane Optionen beim Frühstück und Abendessen.

A beautiful location, an amazing breakfast – but with some important things to consider

I would like to share my honest and personal experience after staying at AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa.

Let me start with the positive things, because there are definitely many.

The location is absolutely beautiful. The surroundings, the lake, the mountains and the proximity to Neuschwanstein Castle make this a truly special place. Everything we wanted to visit was within approximately 2–4 km, either around the hotel or in Schwangau, which made exploring the area very convenient.

The staff were also very nice, friendly and helpful, and I would like to thank the entire team for all the little gifts and kind gestures during our stay.

But the absolute highlight for me was the breakfast. It was simply DIVINE! Absolutely superb, with a wonderful selection and very good quality. I enjoyed it every single morning. I even “stole” two little pieces of bread every day to feed the ducks at the lake. 😊🦆

There is also a restaurant in the area that completely stole my heart: Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau. For me, it is number one forever. ❤️

However, I also believe that an honest review should mention the things that could be improved.

The shower door in our room did not close completely, which meant that I had to be very quick while showering to avoid having a small “lake” on the bathroom floor.

The bathroom door closes automatically, but it is quite difficult to open. For guests with mobility problems, balance issues or disabilities, I would not recommend this setup. It can be genuinely difficult to manage safely.

The room itself was rather small for my personal taste, and unfortunately the mattress was extremely firm. I was simply unable to sleep properly because of it.

The swimming pool was also extremely small. I expected something larger, especially for a resort of this standard.

Tolles Hotel direkt am Alpsee und den Schlösser
Pros:

Nahe an den beiden Schlösser, direkt am Alpsee, super reichhaltiges Frühstück

Cons:

3/4 Pension, wenn man nur 1-2 Tage dort bleibt in Ordnung, jedoch haben wir 5 Mal übernachtet und somit 5 Mal im Restaurant Lisl gegessen. Die Karte mit der Auswahl der Hauptgänge bleibt immer gleich. Preis-/Leistung hat für uns gar nicht gepasst.
