Gemütliches Hotel, perfekte Lage.
Pros:

Cons:

Das gab es nichts.

Stunning - hotel, scenery and although we weren’t in the main hotel which looked brand new and crisp the older building
Pros:

Character, location and cleanliness.

Cons:

Shower leaked and there was a chip out of the shower tray which made us think it was slightly dated.

Eine Top Adresse mit leider einigen Schönheitsfehlern
Pros:

An exceptional hotel in a gorgeous location.
Pros:

This was honestly one of the loveliest hotels I’ve stayed in. The location was absolutely stunning . You are within 5 mins walk of Hohenschwangau castle and 25 mins walk of Neuschwanstein. It’s also 5mins from the Alpsee Lake with the most beautiful walks. We stayed in February and were blessed with lots of snow which added to the magic of the location. I was worried about the roads but snow plough me start clearing them at 4am every morning!
We stayed in the Junghaus (one of the historic buildings) and our room had a view of both the castles in the village. Our room was more old fashioned than those in the new buildings, but that didn’t bother me at all as we got to stay in such a beautiful historic building. The room was also a very generous size.
The food was outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen - there was a huge variety of things (breads, fresh omelette, fresh pancakes & waffles, yoghurts , fruit, fresh smoothies, fresh juices, sparkling wine, mountain cheeses, ham, smoked salmon, hot items, cakes). We ate in the restaurant one evening and despite being skeptical about the fixed menu we were really pleasantly surprised.
The spa was another highlight - a really beautiful location with a small pool and two saunas. We particularly appreciated the adults only room which was calm and quiet. There were complementary herbal teas and snacks on offer too - another lovely touch.
I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Cons:

One afternoon the spa was full with very badly behaved children throwing snowballs in the pool etc - there were no hotel staff on hand to deal with this and it really ruined the experience. Parents were also letting their young children in the saunas (which are adult only spaces). This isn’t acceptable in such an expensive hotel.

Cons:

In busy holidays time they do for kids spash time, they also could do for adults at least 1 hour in pool free of kids, not possible to relax there

Prima faciliteiten maar veel te duur
Pros:
