TV in room had a very bad picture

Bathroom shower curtain had mold on the curtain. Bathroom towels had old stains on them. The room smelled very musty. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent. For what I paid for one night, I expected a better place.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Both rooms were filthy, and the bathrooms appeared as though they had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There were visible dirt and residue along the bottom of the shower curtains, and the areas around the bases of the toilets were disgusting.

Both rooms also had a strong mildew or damp-basement odor. The smell was so unpleasant that we had to purchase air freshener just to make the rooms tolerable.

The indoor pool was another major disappointment. It was extremely small, and the water looked cloudy and dirty, so we did not feel comfortable swimming. Using the pool was supposed to be part of our plans for the first day of our two-day stay, but its condition made that impossible.

Where to begin... The hotel is run down. Paint peeling on the door, carpet edging missing on the hallway, no pool towels, barely any breakfast food on Monday, no soap in the room upon arrival, only 2 sets of towels when the reservation was for 5.

Room cleanliness was terrible. Carpet was beyond dirty! It was actually sticky. It needs to be replaced.

More drink choices for breakfast

It was adequate

No soap for the two nights we stayed. Not at the sink, not in the shower, not at the front desk, and not on the housekeeping carts. We had to go shopping for soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

While I appreciated the idea of a breakfast buffet, and there were plenty of items to choose from there wasn't anything healthy or sugar free (would have appreciated plain yogurt). Most food items were not "real" food, i.e. artificial butter, artificial eggs, artificial creamer, etc.

Signs everywhere for ice machines…. But no ice machines. No tissues, microwave was dirty. Staff parked where guest should have been able to pull up and unload luggage.

Dirty, ran out of toliet paper, light went out in bathroom had to take a shower in the dark, had to get more towels- one for each person. My sheets had holes in them and the drapes where falling apart and had huge hole in them. A far cry from the year before.

Lots of bugs on windowsill and sink. There was no soap to wash your hands or hand towels. Had to ask for towels in pool area. The shower curtain was dirty and hung really high so the water went on the floor. There was no mirror to get ready, other than the one above the sink. But... the worst was there were gummies baked into my sheets, literally and I didn't know they were there until I got up in the am (it was late when we checked in and we just went to bed). Gross.
