We were woken up for 7 AM on a Sunday to construction noise super disappointed
Pros:

The hotel is being remodeled and thankfully we got a brand new room super modern. Everything’s been remodeled from carpet to drains and everything else in between.

Cons:

The properties being remodeled, there’s yellow tape everywhere. The dining area is completely boarded up. We’ve been staying at this place for years, and this is the first time I can say I was extremely dissatisfied with all the construction.

Disappointed with Accommodations

Location. Staff was friendly

Cons:

Heavy construction that we were not advised of woke us every morning of a 3 day stay. Equipment trucks moving before 6am. Construction workers talking at 7am. Sounds of drills, hammering, and big equipment moving before 8am. We asked to be moved but we're told there were no other rooms available. The floor was dirty and stained. The filter for A/C was not properly attached to the wall. The phone in the room was not attached to a cord of any kind and was useless. Had we been advised that the hotel was under heavy construction we would not have stayed here, there are other decent accommodations in the area that would have been cheaper. We chose Radison for it's reputation and we're very disappointed.

Friendly staff and good location.
Pros:

Restaurant was nice and the newly renovated rooms are very nice and clean.

Cons:

My first room was hot but due to renovation. I informed the front desk and they moved me to another room.

Will not be back.
Pros:

The room was clean and cofortable.

Cons:

the hotel was under construction, which was not noted and all the handicap parking spaces were blocked by construction equipment, which is a a violation of the ADA. Also, even though the room was comfortable the beds were not and the movement of whatever was being moved throughout the hallway, all night long was disturbing.

Disappointing
Pros:

Not happy this time.

Cons:

We have stayed here numerous times over the past year. Although we knew it was under construction we were told they don’t work on Sundays. We were woke up at 7am with pounding on the wall as they were working on the room next door. There was also a water leak in bathroom, floor was all wet

I would have loved to have been told at check in that construction started at 7am on the property. We had a long drive home that day and Needed that rest. Isn’t that why people book a hotel? For a place to sleep? 7am is CRAZY but even crazier? Not telling your guests about it? I could clearly see there was construction going on but 7am is insane. Booking has reached out to the property MULTIPLE times and they have given zero response. We frequent Santa Maria often, it’s our hometown. This was our choice for a hotel every time. Not ever again.
