The hotel was in the middle of a populated area & felt safe. The breakfast was also really well done & the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.
The property is older and had a smell about it. But the room was very small and dirty. The hooks in the bathroom was broken, one of the handles on the dresser was broken and the entire cabinet was crooked. The floor had rice in the bathroom when we arrived & the outlets were so loose the chargers kept coming out if we moved while using devices plugged in
I was at this property for all of 8 hours, arriving at 1am and leaving at 9am, but here’s what I noticed during my stay:
** Deadbolt on my guest room door - completely broken
** Fitness Center - closed for maintenance
** Outdoor Pool - closed for maintenance (tarp over pool looks like it had been there for a while)
** Breakfast area juice machine - Broken
This hotel has the current Hampton look, but even remodeled, this place needs another refresh.
And a closed tarped swimming pool in June? That’s gotta be a bummer for families with kids and other pool users.
Finally, you know how Hilton sends you a text to see how you’re doing the day of check-in? I replied with the broken door lock issue, but I never got a reply. That’s odd. Usually they reply quickly.
The hotel itself is the image of other Hampton properties I have stayed at across the country. Staff is polite and the hotel is conveniently close to restaraunts. Overall it's clean, but quite a bit of neglect and wear and tear. It is June and the pool has not yet been open for the year. No furniture and the whole pool area is filthy. The fitness center is closed for maintenance, again looks like its been closed awhile. In regards to the room, the towels were damp and very stiff. The bathroom had two bottle of lotion and no conditioner. And the door to the room was extremely hard to close it completely. I am a Hilton Honors member and overall I do not consider it a good value for the money!
On a side note, there were Memphis police on site every day of our visit. They would park, come inside talk to front desk staff for several minutes, and then leave. It made me feel as perhaps the neighborhood wasn't safe or they were there doing warrant checks. Heard from a neighboring business owner that the morning we arrived there were about a dozen law enforcement vehicles and people in and out of the hotel. 😨
Location
My room was by noisy people
Friendly staff
The pool was closed, the breakfast was poor selections, the room was dirty, the couch cushion had a big stain.
I came to town to visit family and help with a house project. My 3-night stay here was exceptional.
The front desk staff were very busy throughout my stay with various guests' needs, yet they all maintained a respectful, responsive, and welcoming attitude for everyone.
Breakfast was the highlight of our stay! Elvira was cheerful, attentive, and made other guests and me feel as if we were at Sunday brunch each morning! I believe she went above and beyond...and I'm a regular guest at Hilton's across the country.
I look forward to my next visit to Memphis and I hope to stay here again!
It was comfortable clean and safe. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was good.
The parking lot is hard to enter and small
a towel rack had partially pulled out from the wall and evidently has been that way for a while. I did tell the front desk on checkout
Very dirty. Sheets had black smudges, comforter, black smudges… shower has crack & hole in the wall & pink mold everywhere. Cloth shower curtain clearly has never been washed. No toilet paper, had to go request some… no, just no.
We booked this hotel specifically for the for pool and it was closed
I booked this stay mainly for the pool and location. Unfortunately the pool is closed for maintenance as well as the fitness center so the only amenities they offer are not available
Pool being closed for maintenance during summer time
La ubicación el precio limpieza y la persona que nos atendió fue muy amable lo recomiendo
Solo que estaban fumando algo indebido e insoportable pero otra cosa estuvo todo muy bien espero que tengan cuidado con esas personas
Muy susio y caron

New owner was amazing. She is doing a good job at trying to fix the facility and hire people to work. While trying to make upgrades.the building and rooms need some work but the people and cleanliness of this location was worth staying. I would do it again if ever in the area.
The condition of the building. But it does have new owners.
