Pros:

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el lugar se sintió increíblemente especial. La terraza de la piscina con vista al océano es realmente lo más destacado de la propiedad: relajarse en la piscina mientras se contempla el agua fue increíble. Las vistas son impresionantes tanto durante el día como al atardecer.
La playa de arena blanca es hermosa y perfecta para caminatas por la mañana o simplemente para disfrutar del sonido de las olas. Se siente como tener nuestro propio pequeño paraíso privado.
Lo que realmente hizo que la estancia fuera excepcional fue el personal. Todos fueron amables, atentos y genuinamente acogedores. Hicieron todo lo posible para asegurarse de que estuviéramos cómodos y de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos durante nuestra estancia.
Sin duda volveríamos.

Los horarios del ferry están fuera del control del hotel, pero aun así permiten que los huéspedes utilicen la piscina y las áreas comunes. Los horarios del ferry son lo único que podría ser una pequeña limitación.

Wir hatten einen unglaublichen Aufenthalt in der Villa Condesa. Einer der Höhepunkte des gesamten Erlebnisses war der private Kochservice. Jede Mahlzeit fühlte sich sorgfältig zubereitet und frisch an und hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Die Möglichkeit, wunderbar zubereitetes Essen zu genießen, ohne das Anwesen verlassen zu müssen, machte das Erlebnis zu etwas ganz Besonderem und Entspannendem.
Der Poolbereich und die Aussicht auf die Terrasse waren absolut atemberaubend. Wir haben so viel Zeit damit verbracht, am Pool zu entspannen und auf das Meer zu blicken – die Aussicht ist wirklich atemberaubend und die Umgebung fühlt sich sehr friedlich an. Den ganzen Tag über das Wasser zu beobachten war unvergesslich.

Bueno no hay restaurantes, aunque te ofrecen un chef privado, la comida allí y en todos lados es muy costosa.
No tienen para uno divertirse en la noche, y no puedes caminar en la playa en la noche porque no hay luz.

This was our second time staying at Villa Condesa Del Mar, and somehow it was even better than the first. That alone probably says everything you need to know about how special this place is.
From the moment we arrived back on Contadora Island, it felt like returning to a hidden paradise. The property sits right above the most beautiful turquoise water, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The pool overlooking the ocean is one of our favorite spots — you can spend hours there enjoying the peaceful island atmosphere.
What we love most about is that it feels exclusive and intimate, not like a big resort. It feels more like staying at a private seaside villa.
The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and everything is kept very clean and relaxed. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful — they truly make you feel at home and go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
Contadora Island itself is a gem. The beaches are stunning, the water is crystal clear, and the island has such a laid-back charm. We loved exploring the different beaches, snorkeling, and simply slowing down and enjoying island life.
One of our favorite moments each evening was sitting by the water and watching the sunset. It’s the kind of place where time slows down in the best possible way.
This was our second time back and we will definitely return annually. Can't wait to return!

Nuestra experiencia fue completamente decepcionante, especialmente considerando que pagamos aproximadamente $1,000 por una sola noche.

Al llegar, no hubo ningún tipo de recepción ni bienvenida. El lugar no cuenta con lobby ni estructura clara de atención al huésped. La organización es prácticamente inexistente.

Nos informaron que no tenían desayunos disponibles y que “iban a ver qué conseguían”, algo inaceptable para una tarifa de este nivel.

La piscina estaba en malas condiciones, con el agua verde. Las caretas de snorkel estaban sucias, guardadas en una caja en muy mal estado, lo que genera dudas sobre la higiene del lugar.

Las escaleras para bajar a la playa son peligrosas, especialmente si se viaja con niños.

Además, el chef cumple múltiples funciones (cocina, limpieza, recepción y cobros), lo que transmite una operación improvisada y poco profesional. A las 8:00 a.m. intentó ingresar a nuestra habitación para cobrar y nos indicó que debíamos desalojar a las 10:00 a.m., cuando el check-out establecido era a las 12:00 p.m.

Por el precio pagado, el nivel de servicio y organización es totalmente inaceptable. No lo recomendaría hasta que mejoren significativamente su gestión, mantenimiento y estándares básicos de hospitalidad.

There was no functioning door lock in our room. During our stay, one perfume and my monocular went missing. While I do not suspect the staff directly, I am concerned about the lack of proper security and the apparent indifference regarding the safety of our belongings.

One of the best beachfront properties on Contadora island 🏝️
Pros:

It’s in an amazing location. Beachfront and walking distance to the docks. It’s a beautiful view of the ocean and other islands off in the distance. Very easy access to the beach. Just have to walk down some steps and you are right there. Great layout. Byrn, Terry and the Chef were phenomenal, kind, professional and very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. From picking us up from the doc and giving us a quick tour of the island. To making reservations and driving us to dinner and an awesome breakfast made to order the next morning. It was an unforgettable stay that we can’t wait to do again.

They are building a bar right on the beach. They showed us what it will look like when completed (amazing) and all I can say is I wish it was already done when we were there 😂. We will definitely be back to enjoy it when completed 👍🏾

Une tromperie À fuir

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel présenté comme idyllique, et nous avons découvert à notre arrivée un établissement délabré, en travaux, sans aucune des prestations annoncées. La piscine n’était même pas remplie, les équipements étaient vétustes, et nous avons vu des cafards dès les premières minutes. Une véritable honte de proposer de séjourner dans un endroit dans cet état.

Les infrastructures sont sous-équipées, un seul parasol sur la terrasse, une plage en contrebas avec à peine six transats, et pour y accéder une cinquantaine de marches très raides. Partout des ouvriers, des outils, des zones non sécurisées, et aucune véritable réception ni accueil digne de ce nom. Rien de rassurant, rien de conforme, et certainement pas ce que l’on peut attendre d’un hôtel, encore moins au Panama où nous avons l’habitude de voyager et où nous n’avons jamais vu un tel niveau de négligence.

Nous avions réservé nos deux dernières nuits dans cet établissement mais avons décidé de partir quelsues heures après notre arrivée pour loger dans l’hôtel voisin, qui, lui, était irréprochable. Aucun remboursement ne nous a été proposé à ce jour malgré nos demandes , et l’établissement a osé nous facturer 18 dollars pour deux cafés et deux coupes de fruits consommés à 9h30 en arrivant. C’est inacceptable de penser que des personnes en vacances puissent se satisfaire d’un établissement dans cet état d’ailleurs un des membres du personnel nous a dit bien comprendre notre déception et a reconnu que ce n’était pas normal.

Cet hôtel n’a rien d’idyllique, c’est un établissement en réfection, délabré et trompeur. Je déconseille absolument et considère avoir été induite volontairement en erreur.
