Biggest complaint we have is the smell! The elevator and hallways smelled horrible. My kids were holding their breath in the elevator and said it was because it smelled like musk (and you KNOW kids if anything are honest)!
Our toilet didn’t flush and showers weren’t draining as they should. They did move us right next door which was nice but the shower in the new room also drain correctly when showering. Annoying, but not enough to complain about.
There is construction going on which I was aware of and that didn’t affect our stay just ugly cosmetically. One of the elevators is covered in foam and was janky.
Overall probably wouldn’t book again. I usually don’t do reviews but I’m the type to read all reviews before booking or purchasing so I wanted to give some honest feedback to help the next person.

My stay was impeccable and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Pros:

Having easy access to the beach in walking distance.

Cons:

The breakfast was okay but can use more selection of fruits and meats.

This the only place we’ve stayed when visiting Destin but this time families around our room were loud and doors slammed

Pros:

Walkable to the beach and great restaurant on the beach, the Back Porch. The pool was large, beautiful, with palm trees and guest bathrooms. Our room was huge, we had a king size bed.
