Average hotel. Staff were pleasant and the onsite bar and kitchen were nice
Dirty ! Whilst our bedroom was great the pool area was dirty, the furniture in the lobby was stained, tables in kitchen were dirty with previous food left on seats and floors. We overlooked the power grid- so not a good view from the bedroom and surrounding area was quite rough with homeless sleepers
HGI - Union Station was perfect spot for a quick overnight for an event at Coors Field. Super easy walk (5 minutes or so) to the stadium - we were in a spacious suite on the 9th Floor with a separate bedroom and living room. Valet service was great. Used mobile check-in which was super convenient. Easy access to the airport - 25 minutes early morning. Nice restaurant attached that we grabbed quick takeout from. Only downside was the lobby area had a really strong vomit smell that hit you every time you went there.
The shower didn’t work. We could not shower. The room smelled musty and not clean.
This is a follow up, 2nd review - 5 years later for this hotel. We had planned a roadtrip this year with 2 nights near Coors Field in order to catch a game while in town. We stayed here 5 years ago as part of a wedding party and knew it was within walking distance of the stadium.
This time around went smoother! (Being away from COVID times really helps.) One bump we had at the very beginning... Originally we placed on the 6th floor, but the cards wouldn't open the door. After going back downstairs, a helpful woman at the front desk came up to see what the issue was and ended up reassigning us to a different room a floor below. No maintenance was on duty that evening and she was pretty sure it was a battery issue with the door lock. She took it upon herself to race up and down, getting our new keys and assignment, to make sure we were taken care of. We're not 100% about her name, but we think it was "Joy". She really went above and beyond AND also gave us a free voucher for breakfast in the hotel restaurant for the trouble.
The room was awesome and quiet. Bed comfortable. Pillows OK, up to date furniture. We would stay here again.
Another bump we had at the very, very end of our stay. For some reason, the hotel doesn't have many luggage carts. We saw a total of three. Being on a roadtrip, we were loaded up with 2 big pieces of luggage, 1 small one, 1 large igloo, and a couple of extra bags for various things. We really needed a cart, but there were none to be found the morning we checked out....even after an hour of waiting. We eventually made several trips up and down the elevator, leaving one of us to watch over everything in the lobby while the other retrieved more before contacting valet to get our car. It delayed our departure for 90+ mins! Thankfully that day was a light travel day so it didn't wreck our plans. Anyway, if you have more than 1 piece of luggage or need a luggage cart, plan accordingly!
It is convenient in its location to walk to Coors Feild, Mile High Stadium and down town.
Not enough pillows and an extra blanket.
We had the noisy end room but the pay off was the bigger better room. So take the good with the loud dang drag cars. Staff was great, location was perfect. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and it was excellent. I would definitely stay her again.
This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Union Station. Fantastic sized rooms, loads of storage, very comfortable and clean bed. Rooms cleaned every second d day, although you can select to have it more often, I just notice that the housekeepers in the week are not as attention-detailed as those at the weekend. In the week cleans, my bin would be emptied, bed made, towels replaced if needed. But, empty cups from the water fountain were left, toilet roll and tissues weren’t restocked and water (although I was supposed to get it daily) was only provided on the first 2 days. At the weekends though, it was like my room was redone! So thank you Weekend Housekeepers - you’re doing a great job 😀
The hotel is immediately over the street from a King Soopers, Woodie Fisher bar/restaurant is great, close to the Ro kids stadium. Whole Foods about 7 min walk away. It’s a bit further from central city Denver - took me about 30 minutes to get to Ross and Target for example, but that was walking! There is water always provided in reception free of charge and fresh coffee in the mornings. I really like this hotel, which is why I keep coming back k!
Wonderful area to anything in Denver
Loved the place !
All was good !
Staff was excellent. Lovely and helpful ladies at the front desk. Room is very spacious, bed is comfy, nice pool. I also really liked the restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. Location walkable to everywhere in downtown Denver. Would stay again for sure.
I asked for a quiet room, but was given a room on a low floor that was basically adjacent to the elevated portion of the highway--loud traffic noise that the windows couldn't block out
Very clean and modern room. Very close to Coors Field and Union Station.
Really great hotel, big rooms. The location is fantastic, in short walking distance from the Coors Field where we went to a Rockies game yesterday evening. Nice pool, small gym. Breakfast great. Staff nice.
It is quite expensive.
It is located near where we wanted to visit.

Perfect location
La ubicación , las instalaciones muy cómodo
Everything was very good, and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, I had an unpleasant experience at the hotel restaurant when I went for breakfast on Wednesday, July 8, 2026; I didn't like the service, as the waiter was not friendly at all. There also needs to be a better communication among the staff, because we asked to have the room cleaned but it was never done—we had to call them to get it taken care of.
Walking distance to Coors Field. Easy freeway access. Lots of places within walking distance to eat.
You can hear all the traffic, trains etc facing the power substation. But if you’re tired, like we were, it doesn’t keep you up at night.
Doesn’t have black out shades.
It was a good hotel, can walk to union station although not as close as we thought.
Taps had to be turned of extremely tight to avoid shower dripping. Beds not as comfortable as other hotels, but ok.
