Not-so-new Karaman Hotel, ok for a short stay
Pros:

Super efficient check-in and check-out process. The hotel restaurant on the top floor was excellent, the mixed grill platter with eggplants was delicious and copious. Breakfast was good and varied.

Cons:

The bathroom looks like the winner of a national "DYI failures" reality show. Numerous things are either mounted too high or too low, slant, and there are literal holes in the walls. Overall, the infrastructure could need serious lifting. Rooms are old and soundproofing is poor, windows are non sealed, leaving an sensibel airflow and noise in the room. There was no separate non smoking area in the hotel restaurant. Staff speaks almost no English.

Aan te raden hotel maar weinig te zien of doen in de omgeving.
Pros:

Goeie bedden, lekker ontbijt, groot binnenzwembad en behulpzaam personeel met speciale vermelding van het receptiepersoneel.
Ook en vooral de ober in het dakrestaurant van het hotel gaf een meerwaarde aan onze diners, een zalige kerel.

Cons:

De kamer was aan de kleine kant.

Very modern and comfortable hotel in not pretty Kamaran. Hotel restaurant (at the 10th floor) and pools (including hamman) are proper facilities in a quite desolate area.

Worst Hotel experience ever.
Pros:

Breakfast was reasonably good selections.

Cons:

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was more like 2 start level. AC only worked as a heater, making the room very hot. The smell of cigarette smoke was also very strong. Loud music played from the restaurant upstairs until late night. It even harder to get any rest. Most of front desk staff did not speak English.
