They cancelled our reservation last minute, refused to elaborate or answer our messages both via booking and via WhatsApp but they had the audacity to still text us after dozen of unanswered messages and pretend we were staying there.
Ridiculous and unprofessional.
Complete radio silence and I demand my money back.
J’avais réservé chez Hedonist Lodge 1 appartement avec 2 chambres bien spécifiquement. Suite à un problème, ils nous ont attribué un autre appartement. Dans cet appartement, il n’y avait qu’une chambre. J’ai donc bien demandé s’il y avait un autre espace couchage avec des draps ce à quoi on m’a dit bien sûr, il y a un sofa dépliant avec tout ce qu’il faut. Déjà de passer d’un vrai lit à un sofa, c’est pas terrible mais bon nous acceptons sans problème. Seulement voilà, le sofa dépliant quand je suis arrivée était plein de taches, dans un état proche du sale. Et en ce qui concerne les « draps » qu’ils m’ont assuré avoir mis, il n’y avait pas d’alaise. Pas de draps de dessous. Juste un pauvre drap de couette. Je ne parle même pas du confort du sofa. Enfin bref, je n’ai pas trouvé ça correct. Les notes concernant l’emplacement et la propreté concerne donc un autre appartement que celui proposé et n’a donc rien à voir.
The only good things I can mention are the location and the fact that the air conditioner worked. That’s about it.
Before booking, I read other reviews mentioning noise from the bar downstairs and thought that was the main reason for the low 7.0 rating. God, was I wrong. We stayed on a weekday, so the bar closed early and there was complete silence after 10 PM — noise was the least of our problems. Practically everything else was not for "like" section.
The condition of the sofa bed that was meant for guests to sleep on was terrible — it’s unbelievable that such a piece of furniture (covered with blankets to hide the damage) can even be offered in an apartment.
The floor was also in terrible condition and even dangerous: loose planks lifted up once steppeded on — I nearly injured my finger as it was real injury hazard.
The overall cleanliness was lacking. There wasn’t visible dirt, but after walking barefoot for a few minutes, the soles of feet turned black. To get from the shower to the bed with clean feet, you either have to play “the floor is lava” or put on shoes.
The whole vibe of the place feels like an old, cheap brothel.
Bed linen and towels were drying in the corridor where everyone passes by, meaning that what you’re sleeping on was probably hanging there earlier that day.
There was also an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom.
Communication with the staff was impersonal — the automated scheduled messages they send could really use a more friendly tone in their templates. The accommodation took almost an hour after the official check-in time to send us the entry information (the booking was made not the last day), yet they didn’t hesitate to follow up with a warning message that we would be fined if we checked-out late.
The Wi-Fi and TV didn’t work either, but in this context, that were the least of our concerns.
To sum up: if you’re desperate to save money, it’s survivable for one night. But if you expect even minimal comfort — avoid this place.
Nos cambiaron de alojamiento, a otro llevado por la misma dueña (Dob Street Dream Aparment), debido a problemas ajenos a nosotras (sin costes extra ni nada); y tanto la ubicación como el apartamento en sí no podía ser mejor. Éramos 2 y el apartamento tenía 2 camas matrimoniales, 1 salón, 1 cocina y una mesa para comer, y un baño, todo súper equipado con muchas toallas, secador, gel… Amplio, cómodo, con vecindario silencioso, limpio... Estancia perfecta.

No me gustó nada
Las paredes rotas, las sábanas y toallas sucias, la cama hundida muy incómoda, la entrada al hotel era un pub y cuando subías las escaleras para llegar a la habitación daba miedo parecía que te iban a robar.
La anfitriona muy antipática, le pedimos una solución y pasó de ayudarnos y de contestarnos los mensajes, la vimos por la escalera y no hablaba ni español ni inglés y quisimos poner el traductor para hablar con ella y se fue en nuestra cara.

The location is right in the heart of the nightlife, with everything you could possibly need just steps away—from the iconic New York Café to countless restaurants of every kind.
It’s easy to go around the station is just near specially the New York coffee it’s close in that place
Need to be clean properly I think nobody clean , dust everywhere even in the fan that I’m using full of dust and there’s a little insects at night that will bite

I received all the information through an email and was very easy to follow from there.
Administration answers emails pretty fast.
The location is pretty cool, especially for young travelers since is very close to the ruin bars.
There is pretty easy to get and move from it using public transportation.
There are some nice restaurants walking distance.
Not complaining, but is close to bars and there is actually a bar beneath the apartment, so if you have light sleep or traveling with children you may want to reconsider.
And one time one member of the bar staff questioned me about going in, but it was not really a big deal.
