Enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Close to town. Clean. Moderately priced.

Cons:

Toilet value needed attention. Told manager on leaving. Double charge for stay on our VISA account had to be resolved with several phone calls after returning home.

If you are just using the room to have a night out downtown, it’s a great deal. Walking distance from all the great bars

The location and affordability were the deciding factor in choosing this property.

Cons:

This property is very dated. The locked gates and set up are a bit confusing. The bed was very squeaky on an old frame. The painted tub and tile in the bathroom were peeling to reveal the pink tile. It is very old. I’m sure it was a really cool property back in its day. But they didn’t do a very good job updating it.

Amazing location downtown Los Gatos with walking distance to MANY coffee shops and excellent eateries.
Older but well-kept giving a feeling of nostalgia about the early days in Los Gatos.
Keurig beverage machine in room and decent coffee & tea pods.

We liked everything enough to stay again,but would bring our own pillows.
Pros:

It was very charming. The older design of the interior was a pleasant surprise. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths of excellent quality. Everything was very clean.

Cons:

The mattress was lumpy and there weren’t enough good quality pillows. While it was a charming interior, the window covering was incredibly dated. The covering for the bed was
very outdated. Also, there was a long bed white truck parked in the lot that stuck out so far it was difficult to drive around it as it had taken the end space next to the driveway. Very dangerous.

We will be staying here again!!!
Pros:

This hotel was walking distance to restaurants, staff was super friendly, no noisy next door “neighbors”, parking was great, our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Only one choice of coffee to chose from in the bedroom.
