Good budget hotel. Old but clean and staff was friendly. Pool was immaculate. Right in the middle if you're looking to be close to Fort Sam and downtown but don't want to pay for the Riverwalk.
Overall clean rooms, nice staff had to change rooms since my key wasn’t properly working for first room breakfast was only a few pieces of toast and cereal rooms where a bit smaller than what they appear online but wouldn’t mind staying again area is away from downtown which I liked.
The bathroom was dirty. The chairs looked like somebody died in them; they were stained so bad. I booked this because it was a Wyndham. I went to the check in desk to cancel the reservation, the employee couldn’t speak English. We left immediately upon seeing the room. We’re afraid of bedbugs or worse.
The pool was ok
There was a tooth under are bed. Sheets were not very clean but luckily we had some with us. Staff was reall nice tho.
It was cheap, but there was many reasons for that. I arrived and was told I could only have a smoking room, which I had not been made aware of while booking. Got into my room to witness burn marks and holes in all of the furniture, on edges of all tables, many burn holes in the bed and sheets, even burn marks on the doors, bath tub, and toilet. Shower head hung out of a massive hole in the wall. Bathroom door wouldn’t close entirely, and the door handle to the hotel room itself hardly worked, so I had to make sure it was dead bolted at all times. Drawings on the walls of the bathroom. Tv screen had some kind of fluid splattered on it and running down it. Sheets and chairs had stains along with burn holes, as well as many of the walls and floors. Graffiti in random places in the room. One of the chairs provided in the room was a very old computer swivel chair with the arms unbolted from it. Even the shelves in the main lobby were mold stained. I was advised that the hotel was known to be a very shady hotel and that I shouldn’t stay there because it was a bad place. On the third day of the stay, I was greeted when I returned to my room by multiple police officers and a coroners van at my door. Apparently somebody had overdosed in the room right next to mine. The man at the front desk told me in broken English “Heart problems, all good.” I checked out the next morning and they wouldn’t give me any receipt for early check out, no refund issued. I went and stayed somewhere else.
The pool
The manager
This is not a property i would recommend. It was dirty, the tv didn't work, the toilet worked half the time. The pool had bandaids in it
Nothing really
Room was super hot for a few hours . Internet did not work at all. Zero!
Ok
Bed comfy
Breakfast bad
Pool dirty and need some fix
Rooms olds and smelly
Nothing
It was barely a step above an hourly notel motel. They charged a $50 deposit that wasn't mentioned in the details of booking, the staff was rude. The room was hot and stuffy even with the a/c running. There was no security, we had to beg to get an upstairs room
I liked that I had a bed to sleep in.
The toilet didn't flush well. The room smelled like smoke and there were cigarette butts outside of the door. Breakfast was cereal and milk and stale bread.
It was dark and I almost got hit by a car that was backing up because you can't see the exit to leave when it is dark outside. You need more lights around the place.
I have always enjoyed that particular days in the people are very good at communicating service is great cleanliness I will always come back
My stay was wonderful.. great location.. great staff.. great breakfast.. everything was great 😊
Breakfast can be better.
Other wise easy check in and friendly and helpful and clean in the room
