Parallel Hotel

Very good hotel in combination of the money, location and conditions. Very nice and friendly staff both at the reception and in the kitchen, as well as housekeeping people. They will try to help with everything as much as possible. Do not hesitate to contact. I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay in parallel hotel was really great and comfortable! The place is located in the city center where you can walk through the city and check out some really nice coffee shops and pubs. The room is really clean as they clean and change the sheets everyday! The staff is really helpful too! From the reception Furuar, Nijat and Kitchen who really prepares our breakfast before our early morning trips Murad! Im so impressed and very pleased!

We have spent 6 nights at the hotel simply excellent: The most welcoming, sweet, friendliest and helpful staff.
Everything is close by :groceries, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants...
20 mins walk to the city center.
The rooms are clean, beds are super comfy,pillows as well, yummy breakfast, the omelettes were divine, reminded me of my grandma.
The staff arranged for a birthday cake for me as a surprise, what a treat!! the cake was delicious, Thank you Ahmed and the team.
We booked a tour to Gabbal and Sheki a must, via the hotel with Ali, a comfy ride, a patient guide, drove us to amazing places, thanks again Ahmed for going that extra mile.
Definitely will come again and again, will recommend to my friends and family.

Everything was good, particularly the attitude of the staff who at all times strive to make the stay of the hotel guests most enjoyable.

Nice hotel and nice staff. Around hotel you can find supermarket, gym and different shops. A one floor hotel. Nice breakfast. Around 20 min. walk to reach city center. The hotel staff speak english. Thanx

In February 2019 I booked from this hotel deluxe room for me and my family for June. When I came to hotel they said me that there isn't any available deluxe rooms. So they could give me smaller room and only next day they can transfer me to deluxe room which I booked 4 month ago. I can't beleive how hotel management can do this kind of busyness?

We spent 4 nights in this hotel and from the first minute staff was very friendly, helpful, speaking fluent english, ready to help explain anything.
Breakfast were really nice and tasty as well.
This is quite new hotel. Our room was furnished in modern štýle and very clean. They clean daily our room perfectly.
Even thou hotel is a out 2,5 km from old city we used Bolt which is very cheap a out 2 manat to the city centre. Location of the hotel is great. There are many shops and restaurant as well.

This is a lovely hotel, immaculately clean. A very warm welcome upon arrival. The staff very friendly and helpful, especially Nikat, who was exceedingly helpful especially with the booking of the bus to Ganja. Great breakfast. About a 20 minute walk to the centre of Baku. Lots of restaurants nearby, plus a supermarket. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice staying at this hotel. Nice position, only 600 meters from the Metro Station. Friendly staff, very good breakfast and the room was always very clean. The hotel also organizes tour on requests.

Stayed in this hotel in Mid June 2019 as couple. Seems the hotel was operational for only 3 months at that time. Being nearly brand new, the rooms, lobby and restaurant were all spotless clean. Rooms are spacious and well appointed and can be reached by climibng a flight of steps from the lobby. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent considering the price point. Staff is very polite and efficient. They arranged an airport transfer for the return flight and also have Azercell sim cards available. They do have tours to Gabala and other places which they were happy to organise for you. (I had pre booked the tours on Viator in any case.)
There are a few cafes and pubs across the street and this is very useful if you dont want to cab it to Nizami street (about 4km away) everytime. A supermarket next door should serve all your touristy consumables. The hotels location may not be walkable to the usual hotspots, but I used BOLT taxi app to solve this.

A few minor quibbles which has to do with the construction stage instead of the operations stage. The walls separating rooms do not have sound insulation. This can be disturbing at times if there are noisy guests in adjacent rooms. (there were several of them).
The A/C could have been more effective. Even at a 17 deg C thermostat setting, we were occasionally sweating.
Overall, for a very reasonable price, this hotel is a great place to stay for short trips.

Wow! I did not expect this!
Usually you pay a price for a hotel room and arrive at the premises to be disappointed. Well, not here! Since the price we paid was fairly cheap I was a bit worried that my parents would find the hotel inadequate in some ways but oh boy!
It’s a small hotel, only 19 rooms but everything is brand new and literally gleaming. The rooms are spotless, big and beautifully decorated. Everything is just so tasteful, the kind of thing you expect to find at a five star hotel. The bathrooms are also new and fully equipped.
The beds are super comfy, the mini bar is well-stocked. The room-service menu had a good variety. The staff are super friendly, especially the young lady at breakfast :)
We messed up our safety-box somehow and asked for service, the lady with the security keys showed up literally minutes after our request! They have excellent service.
The breakfast is served in a somewhat small room so I was a bit vary at first but they have everything one would want: there’s a great variety of fresh fruit, cold cuts, lots of delicious Azeri jams! Hot dishes, warm pancakes and crepes, a good selection of teas. Overall it’s an excellent breakfast for the price.
This was my first time in Baku and people had recommended I get an apartment instead of a hotel room, but I’m super glad I booked this hotel. The location is very convenient too, lots of good restaurants, bakeries, sandwich shops, fruit stalls and even a 24/7 supermarket nearby. A short 15-20 minute downhill walk to the main tourist attractions, we loved walking around the neighbourhood!
Overall, this hotel is great, I definitely recommend staying there, I give it five stars but I wish I could give The Parallel many more stars :)

I just loved this place. They have only 19 rooms, all on one floor, but perhaps this is what allows them to be so special. The best part is the staff - they were wonderfully attentive to my every need. The rooms were sparkling clean and spacious, with such comfortable beds. The WiFi is rocket fast and the cable TV offered a large channel selection. Their included breakfast was delicious. The location is slightly away from the typical tourist crowds around the Old City, but I loved being in a local neighborhood where I could experience real Azeri life. The walk to the seashore was an enjoyable 20 minutes, especially since Baku has so many pretty parks. But for those who don’t enjoy walking, a taxi will take you anywhere for less than 5 Manat.

Slightly hesitant as new hotel and not many reviews but it was fantastic. Slightly out the way, 30mins walk to centre but the hotel was faultless. Clean and quiet. Highlight was the great breakfast spread and the giant bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, with good English!

They also organised us a trip to qobustan and the mud volcanoes, at short notice which was greatly appreciated--and worth a visit!

Would highly recommend.

Amazing amazing amazing...!!! These worlds easily and exactly describe our stay in Parallel Hotel. It was really nice to stay in the hotel where the staff really cares about their customers these days. I appreciate that guest satisfaction is the most important value in this place. The receptionist ofered us even her own public transportation card to help us manage our transportation around Baku. Hotel manager gave us his personal phone number to provide us assistance with ordering shisha in local cafe. Room was superclean and the chambermaid evem asked us if we are satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was amazing as well with good variety of Azerbaijani and European food. I really recommend to stay in this newly opened hotel. You definitely won't be disappointed.
